Hard muscle spasms in left calf

Have had about 5 pretty painful spasms in my left calf...they lasted about 4 to 6 seconds with about 2 to 3 seconds in between them. Beyond the last time my whole left leg Charlie -horsed from ankle to buttock ...these are new symptoms ..the part of the calf involved is the innerr back part with a few flashes from the distal side, but those are brief and not as severe. A little freaked out about this, and at this moment feel hopeless and alone.
