Treating a lifetime of exhaustion...
It is possible to enjoy good health.
Date: 5/28/2013 10:25:57 PM ( 11 y ) ... viewed 9513 times I am 51 years old and I feel fantastic yet from the time I was a teenager until a couple of years ago, my life ranged from tired to exhausted. It wasn't just the tiredness but also a lack of motivation knowing that anything I committed to would be plagued with my dizziness, fuzzy headedness and sleepiness. I believe now that i had candida all those years as well as a nicotine addiction which was sucking the life out of me. I had constant thrush and by the time I was in my mid thirties my skin hung in wrinkles from my neck worse than many 60 year olds that I see.
When I was in my early 40's I became a vegetarian and then took up a mostly raw diet. The improvement was so marked that I went further and did juice fasts, ocassional water fasts, colon cleansing and gave up smoking. I think the easiest way to stop smoking for me was a 3 day water fast. I smoked on the first day and then didn't feel like it again after that. In recent times I have also stopped all dairy and bread. I eat mostly salads, lentils, legumes, fruit, homuus, chickpeas and drink water or juices these days.
Last year I came across the Bob Beck video on youtube and thought it was worth a go in treating my herpes infection which had plagued me for years but which didn't respond to fasting except to get worse during the fasts. There is a possibility that if the fast was long enough I could have cured it but I couldn't go more than 2 or 3 weeks.
The Bob Beck protocol has been great for keeping the outbreaks away though I doubt it will ever cure me.
I read so many posts on this site where people are searching for good health and I just wanted to share my experience so people know that it is possible.
