What Are We Sowing? Where Are We Standing?
It is 15 days before I leave for the Natural Product Expo West in Anaheim. This is generally the beginning of my season. My immune system is down. I am not at my strongest, but I am improving.
I cannot depend on the things that make up the foundation in my life. My computer went black yesterday in the middle of a peak inspired moment. It just shut down.
I attempted to regain the inspiration. I was working on a piece that goes with the Intro material for "Grow A Healthier Pizza," the book. Where that intro piece stands now is not in the best shape.
HERE IS THAT WRITING
Code Word: Grow A Healthier Pizza
http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=2037751
I wanted to explain what "Grow A Healthier Pizza" means. It stands for a lot of things in my mind.
I did some important house business yesterday morning. The communication went well, but the time it took to gear up for that communication took a lot out of me. I needed put my energy into something else.
I thought it would be good to go into the basement where I have shelves of notebooks that archive years of work that has no more room in my room. I thought maybe I could clear some space, so I could move more things down into the basement.
I started to look through some of the notebooks. I took time to read a poem about my childhood that was very meaningful.
I went through some books of photos. I found photos that I wanted to find in recent weeks. I started to look through some of the feedbacks and little notes I had saved.
I am questioning now how I will come back alive to meet the year, and the energy I will have to meet the year.
I do not have the funding now to do all I have in mind. I am not sure if I have the energy or will have the energy.

[Doing a lot of saving...as I go...that experience yesterday was disturbing....the thought that the computer can go dark in any moment from out of nowhere, and totally unexpected haunts me.
I cannot surrender completely to my next thought without keeping in mind that I need to "Save."
I Found An Entire Notebook with an manuscript I wrote in 2001 about GMO's
I found an entire notebook well assembled that was a short manuscript I wrote in 2001 about GMOs. Oh my God, most concerns that we addressed last year during the Prop 37 Campaign were already identified in a booklet I saved.
HERE ARE A FEW PARAGRAPHS FROM THE MS I WAS WRITING CALLED
"WHAT ARE WE SOWING? WHERE ARE WE STANDING?
FROM THE OPENING
What are we sowing this day of independence? Let us all rise up like those who proclaimed freedom before us to cast away those things that would oppress us, those things that would endanger our right to express our passion to live as fully alive human beings.
We are personally implicated in how the future of the Earth shows up. We are in a covenant with the Earth. She gives us all the raw materials to sustain our full song of life--our Voice's expression. She asks that we express uniqueness, our potential something buried deep within the great gene pool that allows all life to evolve naturally.
Which to you choose today, The Enchanted Garden (EG) Or Genetic Engineered (GE) Foods?
The Enchanted Garden (EG) has Nature's Original Technology going for it. Nature's Technique is intended to bring Peace on Earth. It is self regulating. It intends to defy modern agribusiness supported by micro fragmentation of our gene pool.
Nature's Original Technology asks that we invest in it to resolve our earthly dilemma's and problems. Diverse seeds are here to create unique cultural identities and this harvest of peace and good will.
From diverse seeds we can create a food harvest capable of feeding the entire world many times over if we support local gardeners and local family farmers representing unique cultural expressions around the world.
The Enchanted Garden Bottom Line starts with each of us.
Are we willing to become intimate with our food sources? Are we willing to become intimate with the freedom loving impulses in us that wants to see food grown by us? Are we willing to seek out personal first name relationships with local family farmers where we live?
Are we willing to support our supermarkets when they gift us with larger and larger healthy organic offerings? Are Whole Food Stores willing to make sure that small family farmers--too small to be in the warehouse system--have outlets for their Bio Diverse offerings?**
[...So glad to see that this has come to pass...at our Local WFM, where the local farmers bring in foods...]
I WANT TO BRING ALIVE THE WORK OF THE ELDER FOOD REFORMERS
To Stephanie Anderson,
Selene Press,
I want to bring alive the work of the elder food reformers. We need to pick up the gauntlet. We cannot transform the world to become Post GMO until we take a few steps backward. We need to acknowledge our Foundation.
The work of these great elders, numbers of them friends and inspirations of Dr. Bernard Jensen, need to be recognized for their contributions.
We stand today on their shoulders.
I was made aware of some of these great souls because of Dr. Bernard Jensen.
I am convinced that most of us today have lost our beat with nature.
Most of these pioneers knew the Cure came from Nature from those who initiated this healing relationship.
I want that understanding to be the core of the message that comes through the book, "Grow A Healthier Pizza"

THE FINDS IN THE BASEMENT WERE VERY PROFOUND
Here are a few more of the photos I was Looking for...
Here is a photo of Stephanie Anderson of Selene Press.
There are profound Archives on the Selene Publishing Site.
Now there is one more inspiration--one more set of shoulders--I see I am standing upon--Craig Winters.
The booklet was called, "The next endangered species." The other words were Take Action Packet
The Campaign to Label Genetically Engineered Foods.
It's chairman, Craig Winters, basically brought up most of the issues that continued to be alive for us during the Prop 37 Campaign of 2012.
Today, the old Campaign URL goes to One for Yachts for sale.

HERE IS A MEMORIAM TO CRAIG WINTERS FROM RONNIE COMMINS That is TOUCHING
Craig Winters died of Cancer in 2009.
In Memoriam - Craig Winters (1951-2009)
July 3, 2009
Craig Winters was a long time ally and friend of all of us at the OCA, and everyone in the anti-GMO movement, as well as a great fighter for holistic health and all things organic. In memory of Craig, all of us at the OCA pledge to redouble our efforts to campaign for mandatory labeling of Genetically Engineered foods, and to drive GMOs off the market. Hasta la victoria siempre/Until the final victory!

NOTE FROM PAUL BRENNER
This is another theme from the basement I want to write about....
I ran into so many feedbacks reminding me that my work has touched others. It is not easy to come out of this place where I am not sure I have what it takes to meet what is asked of me. What is being asked of me?
"PS/1 IT is Rare that I hold on to anything-but hyour poem is that Rare. Thank you for the card. --PB"
