Do I continue with the water fast through day 40 and then spend the recommended 10 days in transition before going to solid food (19 more days) or do I change my fast to end with soups and juices now to facilitate the move to normal solid food on day 41 (9 more days) thus allowing my body enough sustainance to push out the impaction from my colon? I really wanted to complete 40 days of water although my initial goal was 21. I did make it through 30 days though and by day 33 I had not eaten solid food for 35 days. I had to listen to my body so alas I chose the soup. I really felt like I was on death's door. The broth I had been drinking had yeast in it and that is why I was still feeling so sick. I had candida, which I believe the fast dealt with, just to turn around and have it be the first thing back into my stomach. Bought chicken broth without yeast and boiled half a sweat potato in it then pureed it. It was not creamy but liquidy because I added veggie broth. I felt much better! I had some stomach and intestinal discomfort with the introduction but switching to no yeast (and more nourishment) made me feel alive! Still had the nausea but I knew I was doing the right thing! I lost a total of 31 pounds.
