Plant Your Dream! Rent a Room for $640.00 in our Household. $520.00 a month with 12 hours work per month.
We have a Backyard facing room available March 1. It overlooks an array of plants and dreams. My dream planted here include leaving a legacy of Food Reform and Cooperative living. We each contribute in our own personal ways through living our individual dreams in a old and charming shared with much history that welcomes good hearted people. This is a place to garden, to share a land with birds and canyon animals, and sounds of a neighbors urban farm.
There is an option to pay $640.00 first and last month rent required. The last month can be prorated over a number of months. You can and help with household cleaning and garden care up to $120.00 per month off the rent, bringing the total to $520.00 a month. An Additional three hours of daily upkeep is required per month to keep the house clean.
Numbers of people in the house love to cook and prepare foods. There is a wide variety of diets here, and organic, non GMO foods are the aspiration of many of us. Some of us shop the local farmers markets.
This room upstairs has windows on three sides and lots of light. It looks out both on the Canyon to the West, and into our backyard on the North. The garden has many trees and plants and is wild enough to have mystery and enchantment. You are not required to garden, however, this is a very rare property bordering canyons, and the outdoor here has many healing gifts to give anyone who digs in or finds a place to rest and let the city leave.

GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA MEANS REGAINING CONFIDENCE THAT YOU CAN GROW SOME OF YOUR OWN FOOD AND THROUGH THIS REGAIN YOUR BEAT WITH NATURE
MY KITCHEN PHILOSOPHY IS TO GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
*Grow a Healthier Pizza is a metaphor for regaining confidence that we can grow some of our own food. In the very act of nature contact, and experiences seeds growing, we can get our own beat back with nature. That is one of the opportunities that our 1/3 acre gives. Even growing a few seeds in a pot with intention, will help Plant Your Dream! You are welcome to Plant Your Dream here, when you come and visit to see the room.

Who Lives here: One Enchanted Gardener; Master herbalist;
a few artist types; a few eccentrics who have unique and particular diets all over the healthy food map.
We Agree to cook mostly vegetarian food in our shared kitchen out of respect for others who do not like the frangrance of meat. I cook lamb in a crockpot outside. We have also lived successfully with vegetarians, and vegans, and fermented food eaters.
Some of us Love: Great communication and thrive on teaching Diad processes; Others like to keep to themselves more because they are so pre-occupied with their own dreams growing.
This is a place to ground. A place to find quiet and respect from others, and understanding that you may have something else on your mind rather than talking in the moment. Shared communications are also encouraged, and eating together.
There is no central heating system. This is an old house of three stories. There is some closet space in the room. We encourage being sensitive to others. We are near SDSU. We have limited parking during the hours of 8 am -7 pm weekends. You can park on on a nearby street but need to walk to our home. There is some access to our driveway with pre-arrangement.
We encourage a low profile for drinking, drug use, and smoking on site. Be responsible for maintaining a healthy environment for all.
Numbers of our housemates have found it possible to live here without their own cars. Trolly nearby.
There are generally a lot of good cooks here. This is a place to have a love for healthy foods rub off on you.
Thanks for listening.
Give me a call to arrange for a time to visit and opportunity
to meet you.

NEW GROWTH ON THE FRONT LAWN
We have many Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds that can go in the ground now.
I think of our 1/3 acre as a plant sanctuary, and a place where people come to regain a sense of their beat with nature. Luther Burbank, one of the great eminent gardeners of the last century, pointed out that the same rules that help plants grow are the rules that help peope grow. When I say, come Grow With Us, this is a call from the Plants themselves. They say, "Come Grow with Us!" You are Welcome to be apart of the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community of Plants and People learning to Grow Together.--Leslie

The room is unfurnished. it is about 12 x 12 and has a hardwood floor. There is a small closet. There is some attic space next door for some additional clothes and storage if needed.

GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA 2013--
A SEED DREAM:
RESIDENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR A YOUTH I CAN TEACH PRINCIPLES OF NATURE AS TAUGHT TO ME
It is important to understand where some of our organic companies are coming from before we go on boycotts that hurt the idea of scale.
I would be honored to work with Honest Tea as a Sponsor for the Grow A Healthier Pizza Project 2013. This project will include educating one Student at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community and recording progress on the Plant Your Dream BLog. I set out in 2012 to help pass Prop 37 with a vision that unless we had more people with their feet in the garden, we could not get the 7.5 Million + 2 we needed to Win Yes on Prop 37. I would like to be more effective in our 2013 Campaign.
I want to scale up the Plant Your Dream Blog and ideas that that will help others Keep the Beat with Nature. My inspiration is the work of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely and Dr. Bernard Jensen, two of the elders of the American Health Sanitarium Tradition t THE Dhat took people into a natural environment so that they might grow. To imagine that in an urban environment within walking distance of SDSU, I can teach nature practices, is in itself, a strange idea, but I want to do it here--for now."--Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener
GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA--MAIN GRAPHICS FOR 2013 SEASON
How more beautiful would the world be
if ALL the heirloom seeds sitting
on shelves in packages became
the plants they could be?
How much more Soul would there be
in the world if we allowed our
inner Seed Dreams to come out of their
‘packages’ and grow the ‘plants’ they can be?
How much passion and life would we feel?
How more peaceful and healthy would the
world be? Mother Earth says, “Plant Your
Dream!” because your Soul is intended to be
a fully-expressive heirloom seed
in her cornucopia of earthly abundance.
She wants you fully growing
in the world now.
My spiritual father, Dr. Bernard Jensen taught me many things about being a Nature Boy. Our world today deeply needs places where we can reconnect with nature. This is one of them. I have lived here since the early 80's. It is an amazing experience to live here and witness the seasons. This yearI have many seeds in packages. I would like to see a beautiful front yard filled with flowers and new growth by Spring. How about You?
Made March 2012 on his 104th Birthday Anniversary.
Edmond Bordeaux Szekely was a great teacher who taught how to live in harmony with nature's truth. Many of his books are here.
I want to make the books of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely available to the new housemate. Organizing these books could be a Gift toward rent.
