How Can You Grow A Healthier Pizza without Organic Cheese?
The National Grow A Healthier Pizza Movement inspired by Congress last November when they defined a couple tablespoons of tomato sauce as identifying Pizza as a Vegetable will offer a Grow A Healthier Pizza Hands-on Experience for Kids Wednesday morning, September 12, at the National Heirloom Expo. The National Heirloom Expo is a three-day event, September 11,12, 13 at the Sonoma Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA.
Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener' Grow A Healthier Pizza for Kids Experience gives kids and high school youth the opportunity to hand grind
Grains of KAMUT ® Khorasan Wheat, turning whole grains into flour as they learn about the wheat berry itself and its value to be planted to help Plant Your Dream! How Fast Can a Dream Grow? As Fast as a Blade of Grass!: yes Leslie.
In the class, Kids also plant Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds from the Petaluma Seed Bank, sponsors of the National Heirloom Expo. Leslie's aim now is to inspire more than one million youth and adults to regain their confidence that they can grow some of their own food, namely in containers with compost they make themselves, as well as vertical Tower Gardens, a hydroponic system.
One of the Centerpieces of Leslie's appearance in the Kid area will be two or more very special guests that include, The LIttle Engine That Could, a 68 VW Van called the Enchanted Garden Mobile, and Keep The Beet Media Star, The World's First Talking Beet Plant.
It is also rumored that Freya Sadler, a precocious ten year old from the San Diego Hillcrest Farmers' Market, will assist Leslie in the Grow A Healthier Pizza experience. That all depends on mom Michelle Sadler and dad Craig, making sure that Freya makes it up to Santa Rosa for her teaching debut.
Keep The Beet Not to be Upstaged
Keep The Beet, not to be upstaged by the EG Mobile, points out that she has had a featured column in the Space of Love Magazine for more than two years, and is regularly featured on the Plant Your Dream Blog, where she acts as a Voice of Nature to Your Enchanted Gardener. Leslie is known to get a bit wordy with in round the clock inspirations. The Plant Your Dream Blog has two main venues. The Curezone site has more than 5.5 Million cumulative Page Views.
VOTE YES ON PROP 37
The Plant Your Dream Blog is currently doing a lot of writing about VOTE YES on Prop 37. Victory on November 6 for the Right to Know Label Genetically Engineered Food Act--Prop 37--is a national focus right now. Many believe that this consumer rights initiative, that got on the ballot with more close to one million signatures, is positioned to influence the Labeling of GMO Foods nationwide.
Jeffrey Smith, an advocate of GMO education, is one of the keynote speakers at the National Heirloom Expo, as our many Label it advocates who support pasage of the CA Consumer Rights bill.
Leslie's contribution to the movement is to literally Plant what he sees as the greatest Grassroots Movement in CA History that wins Prop 37 with Grass Roots of KAMUT grass.
SIGN THE GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA 7.5 MILLION PETITION ON CHANGE.ORG
Leading Voices from the Past, Present, and Future, according to Keep The Beet, all conclude, "Grow A Healthier Pizza!" The centerpiece until Nov 6 of Grow A Healthier Pizza is a petition online on Change. org has planted more than 7.5 Million CA voters joining the CA Right to Know grassroots organization. As to whether 7.5 Million + 2 actually sign the petition is inconsequential, says Leslie. There is a tipping point now that is growing between many organizations from many points of view who are all backing this consumer rights issues. Official endorsements can be found on the
CA Right to Know site.
