We have a special movie showing this weekend:
Saturday July 28th at 6:30 pm in Hillcrest at the Joyce Beers Community Center - Talk and movie - The Future of Food
Hillcrest Area:
Joyce Beers Community Center, 3900 Vermont St., San Diego, CA, 92103 (located next to Panera Bread)
Parking is underground.
In conjunction with Activists San Diego - featuring the movie: Future of Food & intro by Janet Sobel - speaker representing LabelGMO's
Please come and support our speaker, Janet, in addition to helping us gain some new volunteers!! This will be a large audience that has decided that they will support our campaign for November. If you can help table the event - we need at least 3-4 volunteers - please email, Sarah: sjsedgwick808@gmail.com
If you are uncertain what this Proposition is about, and perhaps do not know what it means that foods, like corn and soy, are being genetically altered, PLEASE try to come on Saturday night and watch the film, so you can make an informed decision at the voting booth.
If you are already supporting the passage of the Proposition---for the sake of the future of this planet and its inhabitants---please come and bring an undecided friend with you.

Jeffrey Smith will be in San Diego in August for three events. We need volunteers, especially for the Encinitas event. The flyer is attached. Hope to see you there!
We need to raise money for local events, so we can get tables at street fairs and rent spaces to show movies and give free lectures.
ANY amount will help and if we have funds leftover we will turn it over to the State committee for commercials (Monsanto and biotech are expected to spend 50-100 million dollars fighting labeling… makes you wonder…). If you'd like to volunteer but don't have time. Please consider donating to our cause. Thank you to our volunteers who have already sent donations.
If you'd like to donate, please mail a check to me, Sheri Fogarty, 1574 Summerdawn Pl, Encinitas, CA 92024, The check needs to be written to: The Committee For The Right To Know That way, I can put it in the official account but we will be able to use it for San Diego education and activities. Because this is for Political Action, please fill out the attached donor card and include that with your check, as well.
