Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener on the internet and in life, writes daily on the popular Curezone Plant Your Dream Blog with more than 5.3 million page views, He is a food activist and ceremonialist from San Diego, California known for his inspired poetry, photography and ability to ground intentions with heirloom seeds. He is on a journey now to win back our Sacred Seeds. He invites everyone to sign the ‘7.5 Million + 2 Petition’ on Change.org; '7.5 Million +2' or more is the magical number of votes we need to win Prop 37, the California Right to Know Label GMOs Ballot Initiative. His Rally Cry ‘Grow a Healthier Pizza!’ is now being planted with seeds of Ancient KAMUT ® Khorasan wheat, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, and teachings for Food Reform that go back more than 100 years in U.S History.
The book “The Ultimate Gardener,” HCI, 2009, is dedicated to him. The Dedication reads; To Leslie Goldman, The Enchanted Gardener, for planting dreams and seeds of inspiration. To all those who garden and for those who dream to have a garden one day. Leslie was given a U.N. Peace Medal in 1984 by Robert Muller, then Assistant Undersecretary General for the work he would do in his life.
Leslie will lead an opening ceremony, participate in a closing ceremony, and have two sessions, Plant a Healthier Pizza for adults, and one for kids.
What do you consider your most outstanding achievement? Editing a small book, called “Santa Susana Over the Pass…into the Past” and doing original historical research in that book called “A stagecoach History of Los Angeles And the Santa Susana State Road” The book was used as data to help to create the Santa Susana Mountain State Park. I did this as a journalism student at Cal State Northridge.
Do you need a specific time on the schedule? Please indicate your preference (day + approx time). Yes.
I would like the Opening Ceremony time to be determined. I will help create this and do some of the legwork as needed. This could be part of an event the day before to get press, or an evening in a restaurant the night before, with a special event at the Luther Burbank Garden and Home. I will do some research and get some details about the possible use of that facility.
I would like my first session to be 11 am on opening day.
I would like my kid session around 1 on Wednesday.
I would like the closing ceremony on the final day at a time toward the afternoon that seems appropriate, likely with a plenary if there is one planned. This can be part of a program to stir up the vote for The Right to Know….I would like to be a part of this with planting Seeds for our success. I have participated in closing ceremonies and led them many times.

Will you need us to provide a laptop? (If yes, please bring your own thumb drive) Yes. Will show some photos and a brief video likely.
Will you need a whiteboard? Yes.

I have not started to explore where I will stay. I would be nice to be hosted in a home if appropriate.

I am still confirming another person who will be part of my workshops to help with grinding of KAMUT ® wheat. Let’s explore Pizza Making. Will Update on this later.

I have participated in numbers of national and international conferences in America.
At the International Feng Shui Conference in 2005 in San Diego, I led the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, taught two classes, and stages a large exhibit where the Altar for the event was held.
ENCHANTED GARDEN MOBILE
The Enchanted Garden Mobile is a 68 VW Van that I intend to drive up to the National Heirloom Expo on a ten day Caravan, September 1-10, 2012. I will stop along the way giving talks on the theme of our Right to Know Label GMOs. My slant will be to inspire Grow a Healthier Pizza. I want to develop a long term relationship with Baker Creek. I feel my photos and poetry and 30 years of work creating materials to inspire Enchanted Gardening—The Soil and the Earth are Soilmates—will be an important alliance.

I was recorded a number of times last weekend when the Trans Pacific Partnership was being negotiated.
I was in a clip when we turned in our signatures May 2 in San Diego to get the Right to Know on the ballot.

I write daily. I have more than 5.2 million page views on one of my two blogs. This is going up about between 3-6,000 a day these days.

PLACES TO STAY
I have not started to explore my route for the Caravan.
I have booked a room for the Travel lodge Super Eight nearby; however, if there is anyone on staff or in the community that would enjoy hosting me, I want to look at this. I am open to another hotel where we, from the conference will be staying together.
I would like to be considered part of the staff of the event. I consider doing ceremony work for an event like this as a Sacred Act. I will send in papers for Vendor and exhibitor.

I talked to Paul about having a space likely in the Childrens area. I would like to be positioned in a high visible space, and in an area where I can work with others to create an Altar where people can ‘Plant Your Dream’
