The clock hands are set to 11:11  This is a reference to Kryon and the 11:11 --"We celebrate the 11:11, for it represents pure illumination."  Whenever I see 11:11 on the clock, it is like receiving a wink and a nod and a reminder from Spirit; it is a reminder that we are loved and that we are connected to Spirit.

Reused materials: broken wall clock; corrugated cardboard, cereal box cardboard; candy wrappers. Construction paper, thumb tack, nontoxic glue

This Eco Art piece is much larger than any other's I've done--14" X 11". It took FOREVER for the glue to dry--so frustrating--wanted to put it into the oven to bake but concerned the plastic parts may melt--thought of microwaving but realized there are some metal components so there went that idea!

The piece is really an assemblage, very 3-D--the tallest components stick up about 2 inches. Multiple layers of gluing; the nontoxic glue I was using wouldn't work on plastic but I was able to find a urethane glue that was nontoxic. Took days to figure out how to do it--I had to disassemble the clock and reassemble it so the inner workings and hands were on the outside of the plastic housing, then figure out how to glue it so the thing would hold together. One night just when I was going to bed (at 4:30 am mind you) I got a thought and had to go back out to the living room and mess with it some more--got to bed at 6:30 am!!

Was wondering how in heck I was going to frame this as it's so "tall"--remembered that several years ago I bought a shadow box, thinking I'd use it for a particular piece of art work but the frame was too deep, and put the box away "for some other time" figuring I'd use it someday. Well, someday has come! After figuring out I was going to use the box, had to change the color scheme somewhat as the box frame is white (not black as I'd originally visualized) and the work was still too "tall" to fit behind the glass (this one really needs the protection of glass as the clock pieces are fragile) so I had to redo some of the base of the piece and take out some cardboard so the whole contraption would fit into the shadow box and leave some space between the upper part of the assemblage and the glass.
