TO SEEK YOUR VOICE IN TELLING THE FDA WE WANT GENETICALLY
ENGINEERED FOODS LABELED
Gary Hirshberg, one of many inspirations behind the success of the Label it! message to the FDA, in an inspired gift welcoming in the Post GMO era.
This is the year the FDA will receive our message. The key will be those of us who eat insisting we want GMOs labeled and then choosing to spend our dollars for Organic and Non GMO foods. Right now it takes a scholar to know which foods to eat to avoid GMOs.
MY KEYS TO WINNING THE CA LABEL GMOS BALLOT MEASURE
The Label It Campaign has been a collaborative effort of more than 500 groups coming together. I want to give props to many for this, and to Gary Hirshberg of Stonyfield who was among the panelists bringing a strong message of Unity to the recent #expowest in Anaheim.
At the Anaheim meeting March 8-11, the braintrust that will ensure victory for the California Label GMO Ballot Measure, and the Label It move all came together.

In my journeys everywhere this year, I have two plants I am sponsoring, one is Organic Korasan ancient wheat. (Reuters) - Critics of genetically modified crops are making new demands for government mandated labeling to identify foods on grocer shelves that contain ingredients from transgenic corn, soybeans and other crops.
Labeling drives are underway on both state and federal levels, and on Tuesday several U.S. consumer groups released a survey and results of a petition drive that they say shows overwhelming consumer support for labeling of foods containing genetically modified organisms (GMO).
