I was introduced to Anne M. Smith's local organic Kombucha with Flower Essences the other day while shopping at Ocean Beach People's Food Store. I will be following up on this.
Anne gave me one each of the three flavors. Chef Jem, our master, quality control here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Kitchen, set some aside to let them get to room temperature. I will get back to you with his opinion on this delightful health building elixir.
Anne makes her three flavors in a store front in La Jolla. She mainly keeps the products local. I am going to invite her to do a demo during the upcoming Pacific Symposium November 3,4,5,6, at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Soa,'
The Cranberry flavor I brought to mind holiday cheer! I can imagine this Kombucha being served as a non-alcoholic toast. I can even see it being served in bars!
There is a bar at the Catamaran that serves brews from Stone Brewery, my favorite local beer company. This would be a fun experience at the Pacific Symposium.
We also have breakout sessions.
Last year I did some taste tests with the new Bragg's drinks created by John Westerdahl.
This year I would like to taste taste some of the Eden Products, as well as Anne's Kombucha with FLower Essences.
