One more thing on the Root Canal removal

Just an additional comment about my root canal removal

I asked to keep the tooth. I wanted him to hand it to me but he said that I should sterilize it when I got home. I found this to be odd. It's ok for the tooth to be in my mouth but not for me to touch it. Maybe he thought the bacteria was unsafe. Either way, a little interesting addition to the story.
