First prayer is an opportunity to communicant with Almighty God!  It is instant and direct!  

  "If and when prayer is used in the proper context or manner;  it can change your life!"

  Through out history People have prayed for others and saved nations, or brought about power which has  at times has even called down Blessing from Almighty God, Our Heavenly Father!

*** Yet with all the prayers said or attempted many go unanswered because of hindrances:

 We will not address or argue the matter as to how or why Our Holy God hears and / or answers prayer at his time on this blog!  This will be discussed more later!

"But let him ask in Faith , Nothing wavering!" 

 Faith and prayer go hand in glove...  According to your faith(trust) be it unto you.

 Many of our prayers are not answered simply because we never expected God to Answer when we pray!

 Most people will give a short desperate prayer, then rise from bended knees and continue to worry and fret about the very thing they just prayed to God about!   There is no Faith or belief!

 Faith is the key to receiving answered prayer...

 Then another reason which hinders your prayers is asking amiss or for the wrong purpose!

 When you are too selfish in your prayers; you have become so concerned with self that you do not even consider the Will of God!

  Our object and purpose in prayer should be toward the Glory Of God!  Then we should always pray in The Will of God...   So often we pray for our will and way; it is like we planned a party and then ask God to endorse instead of fitting His Will in our life!

 Sin is another great hindrance to prayers... Unforgiveness, knowingly tolerating sin, having a heart of bitterness, or stubbornly refusing to yield to the Will of God in your life will hinder Your prayers!

Therefore if and when you come to know or suspect that there is something that you Know is contrary to the Will of God and you understand that God is dealing with you concerning this matter... 

 Then take this advice, stop praying, because you are wasting your time... Get what ever is keep you in sin or at odds with the Will of God in your life!  Once you have cleared up whatever hinders your prayers, you will be able to accomplish more in two minutes of dedicated prayer, than all your efforts of two months!

 Home:   Finally here is one of the biggest hindrances to prayer over looked by many men...  If one lives with an inconstant life in his conduct with his wife and children in the home;  then your prayers will go unanswered or be hindered!  After all the home is the one place where the true character is formed more than any other place in all the world!  

 When the husband does not understand the peculiar function of the wife in the home, much sorry and many prayers go unanswered!  The wife is a mother at heart, do not quench that desire or spirit!  She needs sympathy, not criticism!  She depends upon the husband to defend and help direct her even when she periodically is subject to physiological reactions and emotions over which she has little control! Love her! 

 Never, never quarrel in front of your children! 

May God pity the child who grows up in a home where they never hear or see their mother and father pray together!
