Champion San Diego athlete volleyball player
visits Enchanted Garden. Sets Intent to move in.
I see her having a bright and glorious future.
Her presence here will help our
Organic Uprising spring 2011 outreach.
She has been an Olympic Hopeful since she was a child.
She is tall enough to reach the high branches on our
orange tree to bring down the fruit.
I will have her tend our olive branches here
at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds within Walking distance of San Diego State.

FIRST VIDEO OF SUMMER NASH
STAR ATHLETE SDSU
Summer Nash's Time Has Arrived
in the Enchanted Garden
This series of blogs will trace her bonding
with our garden, and hopefully through her,
many students benefiting with turning their beat
of nature around through our Keep The Beet Project.
Dear Summer,
You are a winner.
The earth so very much loves you and wants you to succeed in all your endeavors.
Here is the gallery of videos that we made and the pictures you took.
Whatever curves life throws at us, it is for us to get the ball across the net.
We can do this together.
I know you are going to make me a volleyball fan.
I know that our Mother Earth wants for you to inspire in your humility
a great a beautiful future for the Enchanted Garden, and this land.
There are many weeds, but that is the nature of life.
Thank you so much for welcoming me, visiting the room at 4pm on the 15th works for me. I look forward to visiting again....
I would love to join you at the farmers market, but I will be pretty busy, if next Sunday is open for me that would work. Although I won't know for a while.
I already miss the garden!! I am thrilled to be a part of your home and share the passion you have for the Earth!

ON HER FIRST VISIT
On her first visit here, I asked Summer what kind of soup
she would like to make. She said lentil soup!
At the Natural Product Expo West Fresh Ideas Tent,
I met the Farmers Direct Coop from Canada.
They are farmer owned certified fair trade certified organic.
Marla gave me some lentils to give to Summer.
We are going to make the soup this Sunday
March 20, on the Spring Equinox 2011.
Summer moves in here May 20.
We plan to have some monthly events for students,
likely the last Sunday of the month.
The events will include gardening,
some Plant Your Dream Ritual,
and a Potluck.
