Don't know what to do...

pressure to eat

I usually go out with my close friend almost every weekend. She like to eat out a lot and drink. Which makes fasting on the weekends hard.
If I just hang out with her and drink water, she will be pissed off and thinks my fasting is crazy. This would alienate me from my friend. We don't agree about diet. She is very conventional and I am more into natural hygiene which she doesn't care to understand.
I could just have a salad at restaurants, and seltzer at the bars. And do my fasting during the weekdays?
