About Me....
My journey with a 40 day water fast! This is the reasons I am fasting and what I hope to accomplish! Please read and follow this blog!
Date: 2/19/2011 3:21:34 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 1506 times Hello everyone! For blog sake we will call me Dee, I am 20 years old! 5 4 and 206 pounds! I am married to the most wonderful man who supports me in everything I do, but this is not what i am here for!
I am embarking on a journey, one I have never been on before! I plan to fast for 40 days, at least to start! My health is not where it should be, I am overweight and am experiencing some health issues I would rather not! Obesity runs in my family so before my weight gets too out of hand I would like to do something about it! There are a lot of people who do not agree with fasting, but I am not one of them. I hope to achieve a healthier weight from this fast! I would love to lose at least 30 pounds from this fast alone! With a goal of eventually losing 90 pounds all together! As I mentioned before, I am married and would love to expand my family. My husband and I have been having difficulty conceiving. My periods are also very irregular, something I am wishing will be cured through this fast!
Also, I have no self discipline, I have a hard time sticking to anything, and I hope that by completing this fast that I will be able re train myself to be disciplined. I would also like to learn why i need to eat bad for me things as a coping agent. I would love to learn why I need to cope and what I am trying to cope with! This isnt just about weight loss. Its about me as a whole. Its about learning who I am, and bettering myself. Its about connecting with my God. Its about everything not just how much I weigh. If i cant be disciplined enough not to eat, and to not give in to every one of my desires how will i be disciplined enough to spend time with Christ!
