Just woke up with a powerful renewal of vision.
It laid out a plan in the flash of an instant,
a remembering of my purpose here at the
Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Growing Grounds,
our 1/3 acre near San Diego State University.
The vision I am seeing and seeding this morning
also lays out the next phases for the
Campaign to Educate Washington on Real Food Safety.
Beet Keepers, Return!/Enchanted Garden launched
that Campaign November 6-7, 2010 at the Pacific Symposium 2010--
the auspicious international Conference at the
Catamaran Resort Hotel.
On the late evening of November 6,
A Sacred Sound was Heard from the Catamaran Resort Hotel.
The Shift in energy was palpable.
Pacific Symposium Program Director
Tiffany Hansen, and Alumni Director Deb Davies
visited our sacred circle briefly, but made that comment.
Then, the following day, in the closing ceremony
for the Pacific Symposium, a closing ceremony
that can be viewed on the Change.Org site,
we launched the intention to Educate Washington
on Real Food Safety.

OUR FINEST HOUR
For more than 12 years, there has been an
Enchanted Garden Installation with many dreams planted
at the Pacific Symposium. The yearly event
will be more grounded, with more
detailed honoring of those companies
and entrepreneurs who aspire to uphold
the standards we envision for the
Enchanted Garden Seal of Good House Keeping.
In our neck of the farmbed, we call this
Good Planetary "Beet" Keeping. We are plant with the
words Beat Keeper when we say "Beet" Keeper.
That is because we feel here, that by growing a
beet in a pot--or for that matter--some kind of food in a pot--
we can begin to turn our beat around with nature.
That is the problem, we have lost our beat with nature.
Because of this we are making bad economic decisions
with no natural foundation.
Products and entrepreneurs who I have met
at the Natural Product Expo West are to be honored
for understanding what it is to be a Beet Keeper
at a vital moment in history when we are asked
by Mother Earth herself to no longer ask nature
to adapt to us, but more so, we are compelled by life
itself, to adapt to nature.

began many years ago, when I was invited by
then CEO for the show Kate Lawrence, to join
the press corps. For many years,

and the Pacific Symposium 2011
November 3-6, 2011, may very well
be one of our most focused.
We will be honoring businesses
and companies that aspire to uphold
the Enchanted Garden Seal of Planetary
Good Housekeeping, or for those
already in the Enchanted Garden club--
who understanding pur lingo--

in the Anaheim Marriott Parking Lot.

Many of the companies I admire get together
for special socials at the Marriott and Hilton.
THE BRONNER MAGIC SOAP PARTY
Last year, my favorite party was the Bronner Magic Soap
event. Last year, this party is where I spent time with
my ally Ralph Bronner, son of the famed founder of the company.
If any company at the Natural Product Expo West epitomizes
the Enchanted Garden Seal of Good Planetary Housekeeping,
it would be the Bronner family.

Washington is currently invested in
GE Technology. They are defining GE Technology
as science based. This is dangerous.
We, in the campaign to Educate Washington on
Real Food Safety, urge Washington--
Uncle Sam needs to marry "Auntie" GMO.
"Auntie" is a play on words...in other words,
Washington and the Anti-GE (GMO) movement
need to get married.
GMO proliferation is an issue of
major health concern. One of the leading voices
on this is Jeffrey Smith. Jeffrey wrote the book
"Seeds of Deception."

Food or Drugs as Medicine?
Europe is now making it more difficult to receive
benefits from natural supplements.
New laws will restrict the flow of Traditional Chinese Herbs
if they are not stopped.
There are many forces in the U.S. that would restrict
their flow here as well.
Where do you stand?

WHERE DO YOU STAND?
The USDA has a number of factions going at the same time.
One says, GMO's and Organic Food Can Co-exist.
A number of Organic Stakeholders who attend the NPEW
each year attended meetings in Washington at the end of 2010.
What do they have to say about what they heard?
How can GE--i.e. GMO foods and Organic co-exist?
Is this real science or science in the hands of a profit motive?
On the other hand of the scale, we still have
employees at the FDA who are promoting
Know Your Food. Know Your Farmer.
Real Food Safety, from the Enchanted Garden point of view,
depends on having a personal relationship with the person
growing your food. This means, #1. growing a bit of your own food.
#2, Being on a first name basis with the farmers growing
the rest of your food.

I have been watching both this offspring of the RODRIGUEZ family grow up. It adds so much to my life to feel a part of this family and help in every way I can on most Sundays when I am in town. If you live in San Diego, please come by to the market. It is a wonderful experience. We can do some commerce over purple beans, but something much deeper we will exchange. I have been admiring the products of Terra Bella Ranch at our Hillcrest Farmers' Market for weeks I enjoy their certified Organic Nuts. I also had in mind yesterday to get show a draft of the Playbook I will be taking to the Natural Product Expo West this week. That all added up to making this Youtube for Nicolina Alves. I just met Tina Koenemann
from Westbridge.
She tells me her company is often just called
Westbridge. Westbridge is short
for Westbridge Agricultural Products.
Her company manufactures Organic Liquid
Plant Nutrients, surfactants.
Tina is a cosponsor of the Dialogue on
Science, Ethics, and Food. She is also co-sponsoring
the Hamilton High Enchanted Garden Project, my own
contribution to the Hamilton High School garden now
