Processed Imitation "Milk"
Something to research and especially when people rely on commercial substitutes for real milk.

This was a reply from Sally Fallon in regards to a question raised by a chapter leader about the Shopping Guide:
currently the Avoid description says:
AVOID: Lowfat and skim milk; ultra-pasteurized milk; imitation "milk" made from soy, rice, almonds, oats, hemp, etc.
it will be changed to say:
AVOID: Lowfat and skim milk; ultra-pasteurized milk; processed imitation "milk" made from soy, rice, almonds, oats, hemp, etc.
In other words the "imitation milks" need to be prepared by people rather than buying the commercial processed products.
Here is another example for foods that may best be prepared ion a community level as I am advocating via Community Supported Kitchens.
