What Is Prayer?
Mary Hunt channels Mary, Mother of Yeshua, also known by the names of Kwan Yin, Isis, and many other names of the Divine Feminine, to answer the question "What is Prayer?"

If you are standing by a still pond and you would toss a pebble in the pond,
You understand what would happen;
That the ripples would go out from that pond in all directions.
You understand that from a human standpoint; from a physics standpoint.
That is what prayer is.
Prayer is putting out a positive thought.
Many religions teach you to bow down and to pray for forgiveness.
We ask you, do not bother praying for forgiveness children,
for there is nothing to forgive you for.
We have not judged you for anything you have ever done.
Nor will we ever do that.
So, asking for forgiveness we would suggest is a waste of your energy.
A waste of your energy because, you would put out energy in a way
that we would have no way to do anything, with that energy.
For there is no forgiveness to be had.
You don't need it.
We would say almost, it's a neutral thing.
If you put out your energy cursing someone it is a neutral energy also.
We do not respond to that either.
But what you would call prayer is when you would put out a thought of Kindness, Gentleness, Love.
Even a thought of worry is a thought of kindness
that you would care enough about someone to think about them.
All those are what you would call prayer.
From our standpoint it is the pebble being put in the pond; and the energy goes out.
What you do not understand is that that energy does not go
just to one place but it goes and touches ALL the world.
