We are coming into the season of Trick or Treat.
I am very concerned for the welfare
and well being of our senators who really
need their hands held when they go out
for Halloween this year. Do they really know what they
are receiving in their goody bags,
and who is given them what?
We are all being asked as a nation
and a world to fully begin Chewing on Food Safety.
A National Conversation is Needed
and has begun. It is we the people that
need to come to the aid of Washington
and treat them well, in spite of any tricking we
feel we have been receiving from them.
I see poverty everywhere in the Capitol
with starvation of brain cells causing poor decision making
regarding food safety. When the senate reconvenes
in November, these exhausted public servants will be
asked to vote on new laws that they presume will
corrrect widespread and frequent contamination of our
food supply. I wish the answer was as simple as
regulating big ag or adding two heaping tablespoons
of more regulations on small farmers. Our small farmers
are already tied up with so much red tape they can
harding get out of bed to say, "Happiness is Organic!
Local organic farmers who are growing our last remaining
real foods are endangered species. If we really knew how much
we need each of them, and thousands more, we would
pass immediate bills to make sure that not one more farmer
shuts down due to the climate that makes small farming today
near impossible. We are talking here about the remaining
small farmers who have face to face contact with their customers
at Farmers' Markets. We are talking here about servants of the
soil who hold seeds in sacred manner, who know the intent
of seeds is to help us each be healthy and fully self express.
Terror and Fear are obsessing us now so much so we
are losing our middle class to a war in Afghanistan that we cannot end. Truly we are being terrorized as a nation by what we are eating.
What we allow to be sold as food needs redefinition. Rather than keep spending funds to protect ourselves from invasion from outside,
we need to shore up, as part of our national conversation on
food safety, what authentic earth based homeland security
would look like. I recommend that eyes that read these words go immediately to the closest resource or a local organic beet.
If possible get your beet from a local farmers' market organic farmer. Ask the farmer's name. Become a member of their CSA-- Find out what Community Supported Agriculture means to your health and the health of your community. Don't eat all your beets. Plant one. Name it Keep The Beet. Talk to your beet and imagine it is talking to you. Grow the greens and recognize that in doing so, you are now a food grower.
One Pot + One Beet= You are a gardener. As your beet grows, connect
a dream to your growing plant. Intentionis all that stands between us,
poverty, or Shifting our point of view now. We can see the breakdowns
many of us are experiencing now as breakthroughs.
Truly, we all need to plant beet seeds and beet roots in a national
planting that aims to help our Senators. Many, not all, are confused
about the hand that feeds them. They know now where their true
power lies. It is with us, the people. We still live in a free country
although they imagine they can continue to listen to a few voices
that are supporting their re-election campaign treasuries. This has got to shift. Our senators are acting out as the Roman Senators of all.
They are becoming behaving now as if they have impoverished
brain chemistry. What can we expect from leadership that has been
on a steady diet of GMO foods for years without even
knowing they have been taking in substances unfit for
human consumption? Truly it was
not a good idea to let this GMO's go unlabeled, or allow our FDA
Food Policy makers to give GMO's the go ahead based on bad science.
The RX I would recommend for economic recovery; Really good meals,
massive amounts of high dosages of natural supplements.
and maybe a week or two at a place like destination spa Rancho La Puerta in Tecate. Our senators need massive amounts of fresh air,mountain hikes,
and positive experiences across the border. We all need to come be of
one beet. To recognize we are all of many pulses. To here again
what nature had in mind when she created human beings.
Our Senators will be asked to vote on Food
Safety laws in November. Nature has made fresh organic herbs
and food as our medicine, not pharmaceutical drugs. We all need
to get off the computer and begin to clock garden experiences.
We have deeply entrusted our elected officials who are at heart
good people who want to do good by us in terms of Food Safety.
I truly believe this. but they have been poisoned in heart
and mind by Technologies and Agricultural systems out of control.
GMO's simply will not work and has no real science
behind it. Charles Benbrook, lead scientist
for the Organic Center issued a report last year comparing where
the cost of Genetic seeds and conventional seeds. The genetic
seeds are go up in price. The harvest is not keeping up.
The New York Times reported October 4, that things
are not looking up for Monsanto multi national corporation,,that may suffer
incredible losses this year. Some say it may be the worst
stock of the year after being Forbes Magazine best business
of the year. I personally have nothing against Monsanto. Keep The Beet,
The talking Beet plant who informs my thinking,
tells me that before long Monsanto will likely regroup losses through inventing products that reverse the damage down by Round Up Ready,
and then go out to make a mint opening up an Organic Division.
We have been Tricked as a nation. We are all in the same boat. Few of us
got our childhood needs met or the hugs
that we deserved. A total re education is needed
now from kindergarden up. Our senators
need time in the playground and farm field. They need to see
again how corn--organic, local, real--is meant to grow.

Washington and the White house has been banking on a promise that the FDA, who we trust to enforce and help define
what is safe and what is not safe-- is a just organization.
We trust we have public servants working for the FDA
that are worthy of our trust. Some would give more regulatory powers
yet it the FDA does not appear in the hands of food policy engineers--
or a food Czar-- who understand the beat of nature or the natural capacity
of the human to self heal. With the right high quality nutrients
and ingredients made of whole, pure, and natural anything icapacity to heal the healing of bones and the nation's soul is very much possible.
We are living in an atmosphere
both in Washington and globally that is supping
at the table of a corporate mentality that again needs to
awaken to best interests of humanity. Our free election
system is being challenged by funding coming from
outside our borders. The good news is that
more voices are being heard
now that can that lead us back
to our rootedness in harmony with Nature's Original Technology.
I believe that the trust we placed
in Barack Obama will awaken our president
to realign with the people. We so need him to
be what we imagined. He needs to get into the
farmbed with those in who would say
Know Your Food. Know Your Farmer.
He needs to eat more out of the While House
Organic Garden and take to appreciate the truckloads
of organic food that are being delivered to the White
House for the first time in history.
I want to thank all of you who are stepping
up to the plate. I want to thank all of you for
hearing the message broadcast far and wide that
participation in government can no longer be seen
as a couch activity. We can no longer afford to
simple root from the stands or imagine others
can score the points for us.
We are all stakeholders now. Together, we are as powerful
and more powerful that the few percentage of people,
whose names we may not know, who are controlling our
food supply and our destiny.
Teachers are being drawn forward to help create
curriculums that would help our youth
be as fluent in reading nature's web
as being fluent on the World Wide Web.
While Michelle Obama tells us that she and her husband
do not yes "the beet gene," we are all being asked
to say yes to an international movement that
says to Beet Keepers, Return!
Choosing weather we are voting Democrat or Republican
may no longer be as relevant as deciding if we
love or hate what growing a beet can bring.
This is a moment of decision. Do we want to stand
in harmony with nature or against her? We are asked
to adapt or not exist at all.
Some are sensing that coming into relationship with the fantasy
of a talking beet, called Keep The Beet,
who asks us to Keep The Beet
and eat the Beet Greens might save us.
We can all use a bit more chlorophyll injected
into our blood stream through the mouth rather
than the that as vaccines injected through the syringe.
There has been a very deep and positive
feedback in the last ten days from many
who have been Chewing on Food Safety.
A National Conversation has begun.
We need to see where we stand.
Washington is banking on
High Tech to bring us home. The leading voices
of science within are presdigious Triple A Science
organization (AAAS) lean toward GMO usage and proliferation.
Some imagine Mendel in the classroom can help us.
Washington is committed now to feed
our children High Tech proficiency rather
than nature contact. The world world deeply needs
more gardens and small farms that hear the beat of nature
and yet we are leaning toward hygienic practices that
do not trust the fertility of the human spirit
and its natural abundance that comes out of being one
with the beat of nature.
The path home is also clear.

The amount of support you can give, both energetically
and financially matters now. The last six or more weeks
I have gathered a mass of digital images and video clips
that need to be uploaded. I have been traveling extensively
away from home here, The Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds near San Diego State University.
We have a dome in deep need of restoration. We have
many structures of community living that need to be addressed.
These are pulling on my ability to continue to help
with the national campaign that is happening now.
I have been traveling extensively to reach out to help our
children, parents, and others who are the sheppards of
what has seemed impossible but asked to be realized.
I have been on mountaintops pouring out good energy.
I have been twice to the Temple of the Book with the
Children of Freedom. I went up to Idyllwild for the Whole
Being Weekend. I left simi Valley twice to respond
to other places that called and needed me.

My next major outing is to co-create an
Enchanted Garden Installation for the Pacific Symposium 2010,
November 4-7 at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in Pacific Beach.
I will display and honor the natural remedies
and supplements that have gotten me this far.
Considering my physical condition, I could not have
