Fasting for health
Date: 9/6/2010 12:37:25 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 41784 times Today on Sept 6th, 2010 at 1:10am I have decided to stop eating and do a water fasting. Main reason for fasting is to get back my life. I am suffering from food addiction and I am unable to focus on anything. I believe fasting will give me mental clarity and will cleanse my body. I am hoping to get back to my regular weight by the time I finish Two sets of water fasting.
I know water fasting has many detox symptoms, followed by plenty of temptation. Everyday I have to remind myself all the reason why I am fasting and that at the end of the fast I will see a huge transformation. I don't see the point of killing my self by eating too much and being depressed. You eat to live and not live to eat. I know I can do this. I know I cannot just do it with will power, I need God's help. During the fast I am going to meditate and do some soul searching to find the root cause to all my problems.
I will be posting daily my progress. I appreciate all the support and help. If anyone is starting a fast and would like to join me that would be great. I will post my weight loss on a weekly basis.
