plant-like.
Is that not the goal now?
To remember how to keep the beat with
our nature?
HOUSEMATE WANTED NOW.
CARING, PERSON, WOMAN PREFERRED
to keep the balance. Domestic skills,
willingness to keep house clean.
Love of garden. Desire to fulfill her dreams.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
We have 1/3 acre
surrounded by canyons.
There is much plant life and animal life on our property.
The community is in the middle of Summer Shift 2010,
a global as well as at home experience where we
are clearing the garden, and begin to explore
improving agreements that will make it possible for
their to be more cooperative living in the world.
There will be a small room open in September 1,
or perhaps another larger room.
There is an evaluation going on now with finances
and looking at our income and expenses.
THere is a proposal to share one common space
called the Dome as a personal retreat space and a studio.
We will be looking at improving our website
in the weeks to come.

The Enchanted Garden is a name for our renewed earth
that grows one plant and seed dream coming together.
The Enchanted Garden Intentional Community is a vision
of a global renewal that comes out of people learning to life
together in harmony with each other and in conscious
relationship to the earth.
The record of our journey is told
on the Plant Your Dream Blog,
through my personal experience.
We are all just breaking ground when it comes
to learning how to honor our own boundaries
and live together on a planet that can provide
for all of our needs, if we share it wisely.
The skills needed come out of taking the journey.
This is a moment in time when we are in
the Summer Shift 2010. Economic structures
are being asked to come down to earth.
Learning to live together is also coming down to earth.
We live within walking distance of SDSU,
about six blocks away.
San Diego State Univesity
was called a flagship University for Sustainablility
by Jerome Ringo, the Earth Day speaker.
PCOM stands for Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
PCOM is a school that trains oriental medicine practitioners
in acupuncture, massage, and more.
It is located about 20 minutes by car from our home.
There is also a trolley four blocks away.
It is possible to get to that school via public transportation.

STATE OF THE ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
You do not have to live here to be a part
of the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
We would like you to take an interest in what
we are doing here.
The Vision of the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
is solid. It is ancient, present, and future.
It is realistically about five feet off the ground here
on this property.
We have numbers of rooms rented now.
A clear understanding of why we are here
is coming down to earth.
The Vision is revealed through literally gardening
and caretaking plants, and exploring Cooperative Living.
There is a needs assessment going on
in the forthcoming weeks and months.
What are the actual and hidden costs
of living together?
How do we maintan an environment
that allows each of us to fulfill and move along
individual dreams?
What kind of sound levels are needed?
What kinds of agreements need to be enhanced
and improved for individuals to live together?
This is vital and necessary work.
The face of the world and our economy as we know it know
asks to be rooted again in the beat of nature.
Many structures that we see now will no longer
be active within the next 50 years.
New can learn how to live more successfully
now together here.
