Unsent Note on the Food Justice Site

I just something on the Food Justice site
to increase members.
I was tempted to post this too.
I have a tendency to do too much
and blow people away.
So I am just going to put this here
for now.
There is a story told about
native American who wear beads on their mocassins
to say I am sorry if they step on an insect unknowingly and do harm.
It is easy to do harm as well when we are all wanting
to create a community and feeling passionate,
or may offend in any way.
The consensus process needs a lot of time to work
and a lot of time to listen. No one here wants to come
off looking bad, or having an ego.
Some of us are better at social skills than others.
Some of us are more groomed at getting the job done
than being team players. I is not exactly as if
the world gives us skills to be team players.
It would be good if we started to plan the 2011
Cultivating Food Justice Conference around April 26
so we could meet all the deadlines that natural take
months in advance to meet.
