Just got a call for Katlin of Tribe Hummus.
They are going to be at the upcoming Natural Product Expo West.
We have four chefs here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
Anna Banana is making my food this week.
I had a lovely beet salad with local organic beets
from JR Organic, mixed with his carrots.
These we get at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market
on Sundays.
I also had some streamed greens, and some
lovely squash with Fretata.
Last night I finished up some of the leftovers
and had them with some pasture fed lamb
that I get from Hani, my friend born in Bethlehem.
There are lots of folks from other cultures that shop
at Hanis Near East Foods.

Raw lamb liver is available on Tuesday's generally,
and Friday. Call first to make sure.
Hani also has pasture fed chicken.
He butchers a good portion of his meats himself.
Some like vegetarian food, others are in Nourishing Traditions
that likes raw dairy and pasture fed meats.
I am thinking that Anna would enjoy using some
of the Tribe Hummus in some of her recipes.
She is also quite the baker.
We also have Angelene in the kitchen, who makes
wonderful homemade pizza at times and puts a lot of
love into whatever she touches.
She starts each day with a smootie made of
frozen fruit.
Last night she had a bit of a sweet tooth.
We were into a long conversation after weeks of
no quality time.
CHEF JEM
CHef Jem leans toward the Nourishing Tradiitions
school of thought. He likes the steamed greens
I bring home from the Hillcrest Farmers' Market.
N
learns toward macrobiotic foods at times,
but also has a sweet tooth. "Yum!" is one of her
favorite words.
LESLIE
I have not been paying too close to my diet in recent
months. When I eat Fruit, I can get a loose bowel.
I don't eat foods that are always good for me.
I do well on the lamb and streamed greens,
Little fruit.
I am going to step up more fresh salads,
now that Anna will be making them.
My ideal is Dr Bernard Jensen's Balanced Living Regimen.
That is 60% raw, and salads, and a wide variety of foods
that are whole, pure, natural, and fresh.
I also prefer to eat something home grown once a day.
P
He likes to juice raw veggies.
