This lovely Art work is on the wall at the
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
San Diego Campus. It was crafted
by BOB DAMONE, M.S. L.AC.,
academic dean of Students.
The campus trains students in acupuncture
and massage. It has a clinic that offers
acupuncture treatments every day of the week
except Sunday.
I highly recommend that you book a session
at the Mission Valley Campus.

Numbers of students at the San Diego Campus are members of
the J.R. Organic CSA. The CSA delivers to the college campus on
Thursdays. Flowers from the the Rodriguez Family have been a
gift to the college for many years. Students are encouraged by
the student council to join the CSA and shop at the Hillcrest
Farmers Market.
Numbers of other farmers at the Hillcrest Farmers Market,
9 AM- 2 PM contribute foods to amplify the annual PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM,
one of the world's leadng annual conferences offering CEU's.
The Pacific Symposium is attended by leaders in the field from
around the world and the U.S.

Among the highlghts of the 2009 Pacific Symposium 09
was the ROOT YOUR DREAM Altar in the Foyer, near
conference registration. Each year the altar offers
attendees of the conference to experience many Feng Shui
elements, and displays of local, organic foods.
This year BILL TALL of CITY FARMERS NURSERY,
one of the BEET KEEPER sponsors, taught students
of Pacific College and attendees from out of town
how to plant food in containers.
Seeds were planted for City Farmer Nursery to
begin growing Chinese Herbs in collaboration with the
College.
