If this is going to be my BEST YEAR EVER
I had to find COZY CORLEY
I found Cozy on the internet.
We haven't seen each other or spoke in 40 years!
He has been a very sucessful newspaper man
in Hattisburg, Miss. He is getting back into his music.
We met when I worked in Watts in 1969. I was a student
at UCLA. We both worked for the WLCAC.
When he goes back to Los Angeles, he sees people
who were then kids. He was the music director
for WLCAC. He helped THE ISLEY BROTHERS,
and the singers who did IT's YOUR THING!
That program was run by TED WATKINS.
COZY COACHED THE ISLEY BROTHERS.
He now has some hit songs that
