How do you get out of Windows XP
and Bootcamp on a Macbook Pro????

O.K, I called APPLE TECH
and they helped me figure this out.
It took about a minute.
You just hold down the OPTION key when
you start. It shows both options!!!!

Starting Up Using Mac OS X or Windows
Boot Camp makes it easy to start up your computer using either Mac OS X or Windows. You can set the default operating system for your computer using Startup Disk preferences (Mac OS X) or the Boot Camp control panel (Windows). You can also select the operating system you want as your computer is starting up, or restart directly in Mac OS X from Windows using the Boot Camp system tray item.

I could not get this to work
the first two time so far....
This is way to complicated!!!!!
what does that mean..
in additon to the Startup Disk Control Panel...
See if I can find Startup Disk Control Panal...
this has got to be simpler than this!!!!
Summary
When running Windows on a Mac using Boot Camp, the startup disk can be changed using a command line, in addition to the Startup Disk Control Panel.

Boot the Mac using Windows.
Click on Start.
Click on All Programs.
Click on Accessories.
Click on Command Prompt.
Type in the following command:
c:\progra~1\Bootca~1\bootcamp.exe -StartupDisk "Mac OS"
Shutdown /r /t 0
The computer will restart into Mac OS X.

Been messing around for hours
installing XP on the new MACBOOK PRO.
Achieved what I wanted to see....
Hooray! My old PC web site building program
CUTESITEBUILDER.
There is still details if I want to invest
the time to go on the internet with this
Windows and risk Viruses.
I am wanting to quit out of Bootcamp and
return to my Mac Os.
I want to come home and see my beautiful
simple Apple Tech!!!
This Window XP install and given all this time
to achieve my goal...feels like I have been invaded.
How to I get out of this XP?

MacBook Pro Boot Camp restart problems?
I'm in desperate need of help here. I just tried to run bootcamp, inserted the xp disc and whatnot, and then the only drive it would let me select to install xp on was the macbook hard drive, not the partitioned one. So I hit f3 an quit out. Now when I tried to go back to osx, it wouldn't let me go back. So I presse the option key in hopes of being able to select osx as my drive to boot off of, but it isn't there. I put the osx cd into the computer, tried to friggen reinstall, no dice, won't let me select a drive. So then I looked at disk utility, says I don't even have a partitioned drive selected.
So the gist of it is that I just want my friggen osx back. Please help me.

if you don't have any imp data in your harddisk then
run XP install again- delete that lone partition , and create 2 new partitions (this will format your harddisk) and then install XP.
now its fixed upto that part, later you can decide to add OSX in your 2nd partition.
