Day 1 (yesterdays fast)
This was my summary of day 1 of water fasting
Date: 9/17/2009 11:04:38 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 2530 times Yesterday was my first day of water fasting. I woke up around 9:30 AM and the first thing I did was drink a full glass of water from the pitcher on my nightstand. I keep the pitcher close to me when I lay in bed so I have easy access to water and remain restful. All throughout the day I felt a little bit tired and I got spurts of hunger ever few hours, but nothing serious. By the end of the day I was tired and ready for some sleep.
I have done many small previous water fast during the first 6 months of last year. The majority of those fasts were in between 1 to 4 days. I did two 5 days fasts and one 6 and a half day fast (I was trying to go for a full 7 day, week fast) but broke it because I thought I was just to hungry. This fast I'm doing now is strictly for cleansing my body away from all of the toxins and junk in my body that I have been putting in since I stopped fasting last year. I'm not sure how many days I'm going to be water fasting this time but I would like it to at least be a minimum of 5 days and would like to finish a full week fast.
My plan after fasting is to eat up my frozen mixed vegetables. I bought about 4 bags of frozen veggies and 2 bags of fruit so when I break my fast I have something healthy to fall back on instead of binging on crap and junk food, (which was a bad habit I done when I used to fast) but I bought a variety of mixed veggies (stir fry veggies) I'm planning on cooking once this fasting is over with. And its all plant base so it has loads of nutrition and vitamins and low in calories. This time im prepared to end the fast the RIGHT WAY!
