Just woke up from the most
brilliant and intricate dream.
I cannot believe that I missed
getting this one down before it
escaped.
It has many parts.
It involved Jewish healing.
My father was in the dream.
There was healing between us
in this dream.
There was something about
a great Jewish creative community
that I visited on a hillside near
Berkeley, or something like that.
There was a synagogue involved.
There was a song involved.
That I had learned from my father
and was signing.
There was something about a performance,
and a contribution that I was making.
There was a professor at the University.
I was with a friend. We were in this
statistic class. I felt bad because I stopped
going to the class. My friend continued
and got the grade. I was not sure if
I got an incomplete or was dropped or what.
I tracked down the professor. He was
not to be liking.
I decided there was some other teacher
who was more to my liking.
We went on a busride together to this
place in the hills.
There was a mystic there, a Jewish Mystic.
I was very drawn to this mystic.
He was known for his gift.
I was an outsider in the Jewish world,
but somehow got to make some significant
and appreciated contribution.
I was about to sing this tune of a song
a knew that I had learned from my father.
I was establishing my self in a good way
within this community. There was a gardening
component that I was contributing as well.
It was a real creative achievement, and
I was so happy.
Then, I woke up.
I could not believe my dissapointment.
I could not remember the name of the tune,
or the tune.
Obviously, I know things in my unconscious
in Hebrew that are distant from my waking mind.
I was so engrossed in this dream.
I cannot believe I lost so much of it.
It had vibrant details.
