It's About Trade: FSEA HR 2749 S510 Hurts Small Farmers
Trade makes the world go round.
There are some proposed bills being rushed
through congress right now. The Rules and Reg
Makers would like them to go through unnoticed,
but people everywhere are signing petitions to make
sure that the forces who would control small farmers
are put harmlessly aside for the good of humanity's

Senate Bill 510 is coming up soon.
This is the second part of the FOOD SAFETY
legislation that the Multi-nationals want
to get through our Congress. They are
champions of Big Ag and Big Pharma,
not local, not organic. The first part
of the bill HR 2749 passed through Congress
like a train on a fast track. It flew by and passed
fast without public awareness. Watch for the
same to happen with S510. This will create
a showdown at the O.K. Corral between those
forces in the world who honor Real Food and
those who are happier--who define Food Safety--
as what is safety for business.
The internationals what food grown overseas
to be sold here in the U.S. They do not want
a nation of independent local organic farmers.
INTERESTING FIND
The early morning of the day
that it is anticipated that HR 2749
will come up for 40 minutes.
The cost of implementing this?
2 Billion, by the way.
The question has come up in discussion on the Internet that H.R. 2749 will bind U.S. farmers to the standards of the Codex Alimentarius and the dictates handed down by the international Codex Alimentarius Commission. [Codex Alimentarius is Latin for “food code” or “food book”].
“The word ‘Codex’ doesn’t appear in the bill,” said Kennedy. “But there is a provision in there that information can be shared. There’s talk about harmonizing standards, and there’s language that says information that’s exempt from the Freedom of Information Act can still be shared by another country that the U.S. has a treaty with.” [pp. 83-86 of the Waxman amendment]
“There’s language about harmonizing standards,” Kennedy continued, “So while there’s nothing that specifically mentions Codex, when you’re talking about ‘harmonization of standards’ – that sounds like the Codex to me.”
Half optimistic, half not -- Kennedy called attention to the online petition on his group’s website.
“There’s still time to defeat H.R. 2749,” he said. “There’s an online petition people can sign – and they can add a message. But they need to phone too. They need to talk to someone in their representative’s office.”

the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund reports
that small farms and local producers and small business
would be forced to endure “a one-size-fits-all regulatory scheme”
that would “disproportionately impact their operations for the worse.”

I have been getting an education
listening to DR. RIMA LAIBOW M.D.
in recent days. She is a whistle blower
naming the forces in the world who
want a takeover of our
food supply as a way of controlling
people's lives.
It hurts me that there may actually
be people in the world who do not
have the best interests of humanity
as a whole at heart, but then again
We live in a world where war is
one of the dominant ways to
get our point across.
Our Food Supply:
What is in President Obama's head right now?
He just appointed a former Mansanto man
to lord over--influence--the FDA.
Why would he do such a thing?
It's all about Trade with a capital "T."
Our sick economy is based on trade.
If our country cannot make good trades
we are behind the eight ball.
Why the man from Mansanto for a post in the FDA?
Obama is trying his darnest to figure out how to
keep our ship afloat, and Trade sanctions depend
on doing what the Multi National Rule and Reg Makers
want.
There are Multi-National Rule and Reg Makers
have been meeting since 1962.
By December 2009,
they wanted to have some of their food ideas
in place. It is no wonder that our very own
Congress is pushing now for new Rules and Regs
to give the FDA the right to lord over small farmers.
These same Rule and Reg makers follow
the Monsanto Party line. They are invested
in controlling people through foods.
Their system of Health Care goes hand in
hand with Big Pharma, BIg Chema, Big Agra,
among other Bigs.
Have you watched T.V. lately?
Every other commercial I see is either about
food that eventually will break a person down
followed by pharma that will presumably take care of
the person broken down. What a way to
make a buck.
This is a Splintered Wheel of Health some of us are buying.
This is the limited Wheel of Health we are selling
to little children and their parents. This is the same
brand of the Splitntered Wheel of Health
that has led to the near bankruptcy
of our Health Care System.
Eating Healthy food, growing herbal medicines,
growing your own food, gardening naturally,
having a healthy organic garden at the White House--
these are priorities that do not seem
to be connected in our dear President's head
right now as he reaches to uplift us
from our economic woes.
Passing FSEA #HR2749 is not a route
to Food Safety. We are in a
National Food Emergency right now
and the only way out of our serious
condition is massive food education.
The first step would be learning how
to eat, and returning to age old principles
that said, "Let Food be Thy Medicine."
Organic food and small farmers
making therapeutic quality food
are at the core of being healthy.
Healthy people are not good for business
from the Monsanto point of view.
Clearly these are days when the
Rule and Reg Makers and the Forces
who stand for Life are taking sides.
Where do you stand?
I highly recommend you take time to
defeat these bills through signing
this petition as well as doing all you can
to educate your people in Congress.
