we face and the solutions.

There are some proposed bills being rushed
through congress right now. The Rules and Reg
Makers would like them to go through unnoticed,
but people everywhere are signing petitions to make
sure that the forces who would control small farmers
are put harmlessly aside for the good of humanity's
future. This cover is from a children's book, unfinished,

LOCAL FARMERS NEED HELP NOW!
My good and long time friend STEPHEN LONGFELLOW FISKE,
the creator of the VENICE ECO-FEST
and one of the best songwriters
I know, leads a good life.
He likes to spend a bit of each day
walking his dog, going down to the beach,
and maybe throwing a few hoops.
Most of us would like to do the same,
have a good life with some time for the simple pleasures.
There are forces in the world that make taking time for the
simple pleasures near impossible.
While we have been out walking the dog,
some of these forces have been busy since 1962
making Rules and Regs for the rest of us.
They are a group above Nations. They are
giving authority to do what they do by the United Nations.
These Reg and Rule makers are involved in World Trade.
They have their own Clubs, such as one called
The WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION. There are rumors
flying that none of the nations of the world need to follow
what is mandated by the WTO, but little by little what they
say finds its way into practice.
They would like to ban the use of high potency vitamins
and supplements. Check out the potency in the UK now,
it goes along with what the Rule and Reg Makers suggest.
Our very own US delegations see great merit in coming
into alignment with what the Rule and Reg Makers are up too
Some of their Rules and Regs
have a "Come to Light Point" for December 2009.
It is no mystery that there are now Bills attempting to
go through Congress at warp speed that would activate
more Rules and Regs.
One of these bills I heard about yesterday.
It would give the FDA, the Food and Drug Admin,
Rule and Reg far reaching powers over small farmers,
under the guise of giving you and I a safer Hot Dog
or maybe a cleaner head of Spinach. Bottomline, the
Rule and Reg Makers, are not really in favor of the Earth or its Soil.
The forces behind the Congressional Backers, maybe never got enough
hugs from their mothers, or maybe they just never had a dog
to love.

and look forward to meeting his wife during

I had a great experience attending BIO '08, the international
meeting of the Biotech Industry last June. The meeting was
held here in San Diego.
The event had pavillions and booths from almost every major nation.
Each wanted a part of the pie of Biotech. I was amazed the way they saw each strand of DNA as real estate.
They were taking apart Life, dividing it into small pieces.
These Biotech masters, who by the way had gathered a room
full of our finest high school teachers, were acknowledging
Biotech Genius high school students at the event.
The youth were as well learning how to divide life into small pieces.
The masters of the new real estate game,
were experts at isolating and landing
on each minute piece of DNA, patenting it,
and them selling each piece off to the rest of us.
They have pavillons with lots of lawyers
employed to help make sure everyone gets
their patents straight.
I enjoyed meeting a man from the FDA who
was about to retire with a cancer. Every where I went
at BIO, I either carried a fragrant herb or KEEP the BEET
Media Star, The World's First Talking Beet plant. He was
intriqued by this little bit of Nature's Original Technology
that I brought to the table.
San Diego, the city where I live, had very interesting materials
at their booth. San Diego County,
from a standpoint of true and authentic Earth-Based Homeland Security,
can grow enough food in its climate for most of its people, as well
as a good amount of food for people in other parts of our nation;
yet there was no mention of farming at the San Diego booth.
I had the feeling that those making Rules and Regs for San Diego
would basically like farming to go away. There is more money
to be made in real estate.
San Diego, and the forces here behind BIO--
our very own Rules and Regs Makers--
don't find to much value in having local farmers,
farmers' markets.
They do not appear to be connected with anything that goes
with THE WHEEL of HEALTH,
that goes with each of us being is All Connected,
or One Beat in Harmony with Nature.
These forces would prefer to "harmonize"
from a control standpoint
all the people of the nations of the world.
They want to "harmonize" each of us
into easily manipulated
and controllable Scientific Statistics.
Their approach to a better broccoli has nothing to do with building up
the soil--an approach the salt of the earth farmers have been doing
for centuries. Their approach is moreso:
Use Research to break a broccoli down into its DNA parts,
identify what parts give good taste, and then
do a little recombo to manipulate this or that.
PREDICTING THE FUTURE
I've been going through a lot of papers the last few days.
I am looking at the dots
that connect this early morning
while listening and watching videos on the internet
that have as well been connection the dots.
Here are some of my connected dots:
JOE RODRIGUEZ Jr, is one of my local organic farming friends.
in 2006, we took trays of fresh-that-morning
picked locally-grown organic strawberries--Love Berries--up to the
NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO WEST. Some of these berries went
to the ORGANIC TRADE ASSOCIATION banquet.
These were eaten so fast I never got a photo.
The next night, WALT ROBB, one of the key players in
WHOLE FOODS MARKET, had us all give JOE, AKA JOE THE FARMER,
a standing ovation while photos of those same strawberries
were being projected on a screen for all to see. The room at the
Marriot was fuming with berry fragrance. Their were berries
on each table in wineglasses.

That was the year I was circulating a LOVE LETTER TO JOE THE FARMER.
DR. ANDREW WEIL M.D, who at that ORGANIC CENTER banquet,
signed a LOVE LETTER TO JOE THE FARMER, as did GARY HIRSHBERG of STONEYFIELD FARMS YOGURT.
Gary wrote a great note. He said the only way to predict
the future is to invent it. He offered to put the document up on his
website that gets a million page views a week.
That was the Spring that I thought we would be using A LOVE LETTER
TO JOE THE FARMER to help raise money to buy back Joe's farm. It had
been sold off to pay off relations who wanted retirement income. The new
purchaser was a BIO TECH family that basically did not mind Joe staying
their to rent the land he once owned. That was a good deal for them.
Their plan, at the time was to hold the land until real estate prices would
raise. They would not even come up with a price for us to buy the land back.
WHAT KIND OF A WORLD

I like what Gary Hirshberg was saying,
the only way to predict the future we want is to invent it.
So what kind of world are you choosing?
DR BERNARD JENSEN, an elder of the natural healing arts, overcame
cancer through natural remedies very late in life. He died in 2001
after writing more than 70 books.
His last book was called COME ALIVE! I began a class
earlier this Spring of the same name, COME ALIVE! That is what I would
like to experience in my own life, coming alive. How about you?

Dr Bernard Jensen saw more than 350,000 patients in his day.
He was once arrested by the FDA for suggesting that people

that Dr. Bernard Jensen used to heal himself of cancer. a=

I came to live with Dr. Jensen right out of college. He would
lecture at the old Hidden Valley Health Ranch barn.
He would pose a question to us,
and say:
In both my hands, I have two of the greatest sources of iron.
He told us that iron was an oxygen carrier,
and essential to life.
In this hand, i have iron from penny nails,
he would say.
in my other hand, I have ripe, locally grown organic cherries,
another iron rich source.
Which do you choose? That was his question.
He said, " I have made my choice."
A lot of us today are attempting to live on the iron from penny nails.
We do not understand the difference
between what is life giving,
and what is not fit for human consumption.
There is a lot going on today that is simple not fit for
human consumption. What are you choosing??
Where do you stand?
On the one hand, we are about to be subjected
to extreme new Rules and Regs, if we allow
others to have their way with us.
On the other hand, some of us are compelled
to become more self-sufficient,
join into communities,
find ways to grow our own food,
and use natural resources wisely.
We realize we are seeds, and we are
intended to have intimate knowledge
with all seeds and those who grow them
lovingly for us.
