Day 1, more than just a Juice fast, a life change.
Day one Juice Fast

For the past year I have gained 50lbs. I want it gone! I moved to NY and my diet just got away from me, with the stress of moving and living i was coping by eating, everything in sight.
Although I stopped gaining weight, now I am ready to lose it and fast! Eating all of that bad food was great this year, it tasted good, it was the after affects that were not that great. All these bad foods I craved, and they tasted good I'd even say great the second I eat them, I just forgot that the rest of the day my body is just in this horrible, tired, depressed, and in a lazy state afterward.
So I am hoping to lose 50 lbs in 60 days and after take 2-3 weeks to transition to 75% Raw foods and make sure I am able to keep the weight off. (3 years ago I was a vegetarian, so this is not THAT much of a lifestyle change. I did it before I can do it again!)
My goal is 50lbs in 60 days on a juice diet which will include exercise. But not only a Juice fast, but a life change. I want to improve my health, my job and start my own business. I want these next 60 days each be a step towards the person that I would love to become. Beautiful and successful in making a change in society!
(And to look hot when i see my boyfriend again 2 months from now!)
I think for exercising I would like to start off slow, maybe 30 min at the gym on a treadmill for the first week until my body gets used to the lower calorie limit. Then add 10 min each week and week 3, 15 min of weight lifting. I am hoping by week 4 I will be able to work out more intensely.
I would also like to have 3 or 4 Colonics. I was thinking every 2 weeks just to help speed up getting the toxins out of my body.
As for the juicing part. I got 2 books to help me and give me ideas. By the end of my cleanse I would love to do mainly green juices but I need to start with more sweet ones and work my way up to that. I couldn't find the number of calories in fruits or veggies after you juice them, so I am just going to assume that they are the same number in whole fruit. There are 2 chapters that I would like to concentrate on the first week or two, detoxifiers and weight... so every day for the next week I am going to try 2 new mixtures from that list.
Today for breakfast I a trying 4 apples, 1 lemon, 2 limes - for the detoxing part. For dinner 10 asparagus, 6 celery, & 2 carrots for the weight loss part in between I am going to try and drink 1L of water.
My goal is not only to lose weight but to finish my business plan. (Today is my day off so I am hoping to do that today and hit the gym this afternoon for 30 min.)
I want this Day 1 to be the first step to being the person I dream to be.
Any help, suggestions or comments will be great! I will try to update you at least every other day!
