THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HIGH AND LOW SPIRITS
When we are in high spirits or when our hearts are contented, a small house feels like a palace
When our spirits are low or when our hearts are discontented, a big and spacious house feels constricted and small
We should take care of our spirits
Being well or otherwise, He determines all
When we are in high spirits, even when our lives are in misery, we still feel satisfied
Even when our lives are hard we still feel plentiful
Being poor and yet feeling rich and contented
When we are in low spirits
Where ever we go, we feel as if we are being squeezed
A spacious place feels narrow
We are rich and yet we are feeling like we are living in poverty
We have something and yet we feel as if we don't
Nothing seems to taste right with whatever we eat
Yet there are plenty and variety of food to eat
When our spirits are low, we are not certain of what we are searching for
Liken to be searching for something we do not own
We feel as if we do not own anything
We feel empty constantly, we feel inadequate and deficient
Hence, feelings of discontentment tearing our hearts out
Like cancer cells spreading over our chest
they are invisible to the naked eyes
Only felt through the pain that develops |
