Day 1
7:20am: I am stoked about this! No porcelain driving last night, nothing yet this morning either. Hmm. So, I’m going to drink one more cup of Smooth Move in lieu of SWF. (Stomach feeling a little funny after morning cup, a little rumbling pain, scale is very light pain)

Thinking about 32 oz of sea salt every morning makes me nauseous already. So far, 2 people I personally know substituted it with the Smooth Move laxative tea so I’m going to try that! I made coffee for my husband, Rob. I am an avid coffee drinker, guys, 3-4 cups a day. I knew this might be hard on me, but lowen behold! I made him coffee, smelled the delicious French pressed beans and was fine not having it. Just so you also know, I have been preparing myself for this for 2 weeks, mentally. This is what’s helping!

Started making the lemonade concoction (bought lemons from Trader Joe’s, smelled so good and also bought an electric juicer for $10 bucks at Ross, came with a pitcher and measurements on the side! It took me 3 minutes to zip through 5 lemons. So worth it) I used 5 lemons this morning to make 12 tablespoons. What a great electric juicer! Did all the work for me!

Tip* I marked a line with permanent marker after I counted the 12 tablespoons of lemon juice directly onto the pitcher and then again after I measured in 12 tablespoons of grade b syrup, (which was at Trader Joe’s, I bought a 32 oz for $17.00) This should make it faster to prepare in the morning. I have decided to juice every morning, as fresh as possible. My 2 infamous friends prepared it 3 days in advance, but I like it fresh. I also bought a case of TJ’s Mountain Spring water, the bottles are 50.7 oz and we are to drink 60 oz of this lemon stuff. I divided it equally out in two bottles and when the cayenne kicked my butt a little bit too much, I added more water.

8:43am: Tasted lemonade concoction and WOW, that Cayenne peppers got some kick in it. Woke me up good. Taste great, I normally don’t like lemonade or any kind of acidic juices, but it’s good. Both thumbs up. I feel great about this!

10:am: Yay, had a BM, feel better. I was a little concerned. On a normal basis, I must go every morning before I start my day, so we’re on track thus far. A slight head ache is coming, it’s creeping on me. On a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being I want to bang my head against a concrete wall, I’m at 1. I’m at work now, my boss is so supportive. She had an extra cup of coffee at home instead making more of it at work to not tempt me. Ahhhwww.

Robert is going to go grocery shopping tomorrow and plan out his own meals, I’ll try not to attack him while he’s eating. I’ve decided how many projects I can get done because I’ll have all this time that I would have spent romancing food. So, I’ll be painting at least 3 canvases, using acrylic and knit at least 2 scarves for Christmas presents!

I’ve drank about 30 oz so far of lemonade. Yum. The cayenne lingers in your mouth for a few minutes. It looks like I’m whistling, but I’m just trying to cool down the mild fire in my mouth.

10:46am: You won’t believe it! My body is asking me about food! Eeekkk! It hasn’t even been that long. My mouth is looking to chew. Headache has reached 1.5, I’m going to try and stay busy, stay tuned!

10:56am: I have an idea! Every time my body asks for food, go do 20 situps! BRB

1:13pm: I'm okay. Wheew. My tongue is getting white though. I had a stomach pain that shot through me just a few minutes ago. I'm probably at 40oz right now, so I'm going to switch to water for awhile in case I don't have enough for dinner! I'm really appreciating the cayenne at this point, it's like a splash of cold water in my face. Any time I get a snarl from my stomach, I take a sip and it disappears.

2:34pm: Having no sleep last night is kicking my butt. I am extra tired. I'm losing focus. I want food. A big fat burger with onion rings on the side.
