The World's First Talking Beet Plant
is a mascot for the Grow Your Own Food
project that we want to inspire.
The future of the house is being more of service
to our local community.
The summer of '09 is our third year clearing
and decluttering. This is being called
THE GREAT EARTH CLEANUP.
We are needing Volunteer helpers during the summer
of 2009 to help work with our garden overgrowth.
There are many archival items that need to be scanned.
A lot of organization will take place this summer.
Leslie works with local organic farmers. There
is an opportunity to have high quality food brought home
for you from the Market at a reasonable price.
A number of residents like to cook. Food is a focus here.

Eight of us live together on a one-third-acre parcel surrounded by canyons in the San Diego State College area. The land exists to foster a healing relationship with nature. It is an an oasis of green with many aromatic herbs and places to garden. The land calls for people who would like to live in an old home in the city and live as well in a natural environment suited to garden lovers.
Summer 09,we enter the third year of a major cleanup. The garden is overgrown, and needs a lot of helpers.
The library houses books and materials created by Leslie Goldman, founder, and works by his mentors, Bernard Jensen, natural healing arts elder, and Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, modern Essene renaissance pioneer.
In private ownership, we are working toward shared management and eventually shared ownership. The house offers rental to those who would like to live as extended family and join in house meetings and shared house duties. Each person does 12 hours or more of work per month, or pays higher rent.

The Enchanted Garden is a name for the new Earth we can each grow one person at a time, one plant at a time, organically. Individuals who would like to live in this special environment while fulfilling their personal seed dreams and learning more about the Enchanted Garden are encouraged to be in touch.
In Spring '09, we began establishing a stronger relationship with students at the nearby university. Wednesday night, Leslie is having COME ALIVE! meetings reviving the work of Dr. Bernard Jensen. The Last Sunday of the month, we do the BEET KEEPERS, Return '09 Gathering.
This is a summer of change, so be in touch if you
want to live in community here in San Diego.
