Day 1 of my fast =)

I will be doing a water fast mainly because my lymph nodes around/on my ears and on armpits are once again swollen (happens a few time a year). I have checked it out with my family doctor (many times) and he said that it's nothing serious (minor infection) and suggested a cream to reduce the swelling and ease discomfort.
I never take these and always ride it out. Anyways, I have been reading great things about water fasting (results not process =( ). I will try it out for 3 days where I will drinking nothing but distilled water. Also, I will be taking an enema every morning (salt water solution).
I really want to do it for at least 5 days but I have a wedding anniversary to go to on May 1st and I want to give myself at least 2 days to get off the fast. Hopefully I will feel better and hopefully will lose a little weight and maybe get rid of my caffeine dependence. Wish me luck! =)
Day before day 1:
Bought 16L of steam distilled water and a pack of Le Paludier Celtic Artisan Natural Grey Sea Salt for the salt water flush.
Feeling sluggish as always when my lymph nodes are swollen and I woke up with a headache. I made my saline solution 1 liter water (warmed up) and 2tbsp of sea salt. Tastes pretty bad but I got it down in less than 20 minutes.
About 40 minutes I had the expected diarrhea and my headache subsided a few minutes after that. Few more visits to the washroom after that. Not low in energy yet as I am used to eating a huge lunch around 1pm. For breakfast I usually have an extra large black coffee and egg white omelet (spinach +cheese). I'll write something later tonight to let you all know how the rest of day 1 went.
Side note: I forgot how delicious cold distilled water is. I literally drank liters a day when I was in Asia last year and forgot how clean it tastes...more reason for me to drink water although i usually drink a lot to begin with not only because I work out but also because I drink 1 cup of water for every cup of coffee. I also drink a LOT of green tea so =)......heheh
