I have visited
Rancho La Puerta many times.
Sometimes, my life has kept me away from
Rancho Tres Estrellas, the food growing farm
of Rancho La Puerta for years, but when I return
I am amazed to find that there are friendly faces
in the garden among the workers of the field
who always remember me and remember my name.
That in itself is very healing.
I want to encourage you to not hold back your
love now from the Ranch and for yourself.
This is a time when events
in Mexico, distant places from Tecate, and distant
from the haven of the Ranch, would make you
question if traveling through Tecate is safe.
Tecate is a very safe place. It has always been
a safe place, and it continues to be a safe place
for the traveler. The very economy of the city
and many, many friends in Tecate has been
significantly influenced by the philanthrophy
of the Szekely family.
The Ranch provides employment
for numbers of people who live in this city.

RANCHO LA PUERTA, the amazing destination spa
loved by so many for more than seventy years
continues to be a safe haven for those wanting
a remarkable location for rest, relaxation; and a
tune up body, mind, spirit.
Spring is one of the loveliest seasons at the ranch
that has always been protected by a aura of remarkable
spiritual energies as well as the good will of
remarkable staff.
Located a short distance from the Tecate Border,
the journey to the ranch continues to be an enjoyable
experience.
Many who vacation at Rancho La Puerta arrive
at the San Diego airport and are transported by
vehicles owned by the ranch itself. The ritual
of arrival, when last I witnessed this, was
marked by the rolling out of a red carpet.
Over the years, I have driven the EG Mobile,
my 68 VW Van, across the border to the ranch.
