Intro to Me:
want to be healthy and functional full time
Date: 4/6/2009 4:42:11 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1920 times I am an almost 40 year old woman, I was diagnosed with pcos about 4 years ago. Took the drugs, developed deep depression, took more wonderful western medicine, started blacking out and wishing I was dead. Fired my doctor over a year ago and haven't looked back.
Still overweight from the pcos, but working on getting healthier. Found hcg, which is mostly a miracle for me. Helps my hormone issues and helps me lose some weight if I follow the protocol that goes with it. I was gaining weight on everything from the 6 week body makeover at 800 calories a day with workouts, to Atkins. Still a believer in lowcarb whole organic food, but it is a struggle constantly to not gain weight.
Ovarian cysts are no picnic either. I had my two children when I was young, not looking to have more since the boys are now grown up. Married for 20 years, happily and lovingly.
I have done a number of MasterCleanses over the years, but not for this long in a couple of years.
I have done 6 short rounds of hcg in the last year and a half. Lost and kept off about 25 pounds, lost and regained some more. I gain weight suddenly when my ovaries get really out of whack and it is a terrifying thing to experience. Eating well, exercising, taking care of myself and whammo- I can gain 10-12 pounds in less than three days with no change to my routine. My experience tells me I have to take the hcg on a regular basis, maybe every other month or every third at the most.
If you have questions of my experience, ask, I will answer.
