28 Day Medical Fast, Day 2
28 Day Medical Fast, Day 2
Date: 2/5/2009 3:06:21 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1830 times This is strange...I thought the liver cleanse would be much more uncomfortable, since the last one was. I'm assuming the reason this cleanse is so much easier is the result of very careful eating over the past few weeks. I had already eliminated virtually all the processed no-no's. I'd been eating salads with balsamic vinaigrette dressing for dinners. Two scrambled eggs with basil for breakfast and fruits or juices for lunch.
I once worked as a butcher, and really developed a love-hate relationship with Meat. I love animals, just not on my dinner plate. I may decide to go completely vegetarian when this is over and done with. I've been cooking 75% vegetarian for my wife for about a month now. She's a meat-and-potatoes girl, I just can't change her mind. But if I make something vegetarian, she will eat it.
I've read that once my digestive system has completely shut down, I won't feel hunger serious pains for the rest of my fast. I hope that is true, my fingers are crossed. My mild headaches, I attribute to the detox and not the hunger.
11:00 am, Juiced up two apples (skinned) and some thawed blueberries. Tasty
1:00 pm Juiced 5 carrots, 1 celery, 1/4 sweet potato. Deelicious.
Dinner will have broccoli or cauliflower in it, with a juiced berry desert!
5:00 pm: Used way too much cauliflower, it's so potent! Dilute with carrots!
