New Year’s resolutions? Did or do you make vows or resolutions?
Most of us want to change our life for the better. This is the reason for vows on the New Year… It is as if something mystical changed with the season going and changes of the calendar. While in actually only our outlook is adjusted to meet the annual passage of time here on planet earth!
While we all want and wish for better through change; most of it is beyond our mortal power. We can perhaps gain some degree of satisfaction or resolution; yet the end result is beyond our feeble means…
The truth often eludes us… a True-ism
It seems that when a person is stirred, either by joy or sorrow, or by the seasons of the year, they are more apt to make vows which are beyond the realm of human possibility to either meet or keep! So do not waste your time on idle resolutions and vows…
When you are seeking a change for the better; it is best to pray. One of the common mistakes made by both the believer and nonbeliever is to dismiss or realize the absolute power of prayer…
Have you been asking GOD what he is going to do in your life? He does not tell you what He is going to do; rather He reveals to you who He is!
It all goes back to the Scripture “Be still and know that I am your God!”
This may be news to some people, how ever it is critical to your eternal future, believe it or not!
