What a precious way to begin 09.
I have a standing date at the BUTCHERS for KAWANZAA
on January 1. This is the final day, AMANI, Faith.
The gathering is always deep and rich.
This year was especially so, in what portends to be
one of my most fulfilling years yet.
VICKIE BUTCHER ran for Congress this year.
She received 40% of the vote in the primaries, but
it was a year of hard political lessons.
She is back planning the next success for
WATER FOR AFRICA, a very important project.
Saturday, January 31, 2009 there will be a 10K and 5K race,
a fundraiser for WATER FOR CHILDREN AFRICA.
I met one of the runners.
She is FATIMOH MUHAMMED, a delightful
800m athlete who ran in the Olympics.
Here is a picture of her winning a college prelim:

I overheard Fatimoh saying she had some endorsements that would
come her way if she could get her time in the 800m down
by from 2:01 to 2:00. I thought ORIGINAL QUINTON MARINE PLASMA,
the Hypertonic solution could give her that edge. There are athletes
who swear by it.
I also thought that perhaps PERF GO GREEN might be a sponsor
of this very striking athlete born in Nigeria.
I was taken by her health and vitality.
I was playing with some Seed Dreams for FATIMOH. KEEP the BEET Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant is planning to be at the PERF GO GREEN DOME
at the upcoming GO GREEN EXPO in LA in January. I was exploring/feeling out
a relationship between PERF GO GREEN and this athlete. It will be a joy to
enjoy Fotimoh's success.

The pack of eight runners loosened as the race hit the 600-meter mark, but Johnson and Dorniden held solid positions at the one-two spots. The duo held off a late surge by Texas-El Paso’s Fatimoh Muhammed and Michigan’s Geena Gall in the last 50 meters. Johnson’s winning time of 2:02.73 is the fastest heading into the final, while Dorniden’s was second.
