My plan to kick start a new year. So I want to get rid of some junk in me. Both spiritually grow and physically cleanse...

Well the first feeling about starting a new blog is the fact that I have several blogs I have started and not finished but I decided to give it another try before this year is over. I have this plan and I pray it works.. I am determined to get my ideal weight by May which is my 30th birthday.. Here it is...


My Journey to Health and Completeness:

This is my plan towards Spiritual Renewal for the mind, body and soul…

25 weeks to a Sharper Mind, Slimmer body and fulfilled Soul !!!!!

MAIN GOAL: Get closer to God and rely on Him fully and develop Discipline in all areas of my life…
(Detox/Cleanse Phase) Part 1 (20 days)
11/25/08-12/14/08 Water Fast (water and tea only)
• Break Yoke of gluttony
• Rely on God for emotions and comfort
• Develop self control
• Keys: Pray and read the word daily. Exercise 4x a week. Goal to loose 20 lbs
Part 2 (14 days) Dec 17 or 20 Colon cleanse…..
12/15/08-12/28/08 Juice Fast (Juice all veggies and fruits, tea and water only)
• Rejuvenate Body
• Develop moderation
• Break craving from the flesh for sweets
• Keys:Continue to pray and read the word. Exercise 1 ½ hr 4-5x week.
Goal to loose @8 lbs

Since I fasted and slowed my metabolism I have to watch the calories during re-feeding and start up my metabolism up again by eating small frequent meals and start to lift weights. All on good Healthy food high in protein, low in carb and no junk fast food.

(Refeeding Phase) Part 1
12/29/08-1/31/09 Raw Diet = should consume @ 1000 calories Burn 600 extra a day.
• Follow Menu for proper transition
• Learn to eat healthy and balanced in moderation
• Keys: Continue prayer and reading the Word. Exercise 1 ½ hr 5-6x a week.
Goal to loose min of 15 lbs.
Part 2
2/01/08-5/10/09 HEALTHY STRICT RAW/LOW CARB =150 @1200 calories
• Stay away from “white stuff” sugar, pasta, bread, rice!!
• Eat when hungry only until almost full. Harahachiboo!!
• Try to eat every few hours such as (7am-10am-1pm-4pm-7pm)
• Exercise 6x a week focus on weight training to tone lean muscle.
• Continue to pray daily and read the Word memorize scripture!
• GOAL : TO BE 130-135 lbs by May 10th 2009 my 30th Birthday!!
