portion control
Date: 10/7/2008 5:18:59 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 3215 times So i started the day with about three apples. For lunch i ended up eating a small salad and some cottage cheese with a banana. Later I ate another apple. I go running everyday and am working back up to a 5K (hopefully a 10K, half-marathon, and marathon someday) so I gave in to my hunger and ate a healthy sandwich before my workout. I told you, I have never been good at these things. I know how to eat healthy and i generally do. My problem tends to be eating too much or binging. Not necessarily on junk food, but eating too much of anything can hinder weight loss. Some people hate working out, but that is what I live for. Some people can starve themselves for weeks, something I could never do. I just really need to work on portion control. When I weighed 113 a few years ago it was when i was running everyday and just not eating sugar or processed foods. So I will keep you posted on what I am eating everyday and my running progress. My best running record has been 3 miles in about 21 minutes. I think I ran a little over 2 miles in about 17 minutes today. Tomorrow my goal is to run for at least 17 minutes again. Does anyone have suggestions on suppressing appetites or combating over-eating??
