I am doing the apple cleanse.
Date: 10/7/2008 6:03:21 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1651 times So it's day 1 of my apple cleanse. All you eat are 5-6 apples every day for about four days. Longer if you feel like you can. I am currently 5'3 and 125 pounds. I feel most comfortable at about 113 so I am trying to lose about 12-15 pounds. I read that apples are the best food to eat to cleanse out your system and shed extra weight. I am usually very bad at fasts and hardcore diets. I love apples though so hopefully this goes well. I think posting a blog about my experience will help. Please don't post comments about losing muscle and slowing metabolism and all that. I know all those things. Your body doesn't actually go into starvation mode if you are switching your calories everyday. If you still do strength training you will not lose a ton of muscle either. I have researched a lot through the years and consider myself pretty well educated when it comes to dieting and fitness. This is just a cleanse. I don't plan to do this for months and months. Well. I'll let you know how the first day goes!
