Hmm...does coffee slow down weight loss?
Date: 9/2/2008 3:41:49 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1708 times I broke my juice fast on the 28th day. I was happy with the weight loss and just wanted to start working out. I told myself there was NO WAY I'd binge eat like the rest of the stories I'd read about...I told myself I was different. Guess what...I'm really not. My goodness did I eat. I've been overeating for two weeks now. I starved myself for 28 days and it only took 1 week to undo most of what I had achieved.
I've decided to fast again because even though I was miserable and moody at times and didn't have much energy...I felt so good about myself on the juice fast. I was extremely pleased with the results. I felt confident and beautiful for a change. It was absolutely worth it.
I had gone down to 144 lb from 158 lb in 28 days by juice fasting.
Current Weight: 152 lb
Goal Weight: 126.
Today I've had water, 2 cups of coffee (with sweetner...I know its bad but I couldn't help myself!!), a cup of green tea, a cup of hot water with the juice of half a lemon and 2 teaspoons of honey.
I also did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine.
I don't want to drink any juice because of the calories...I'm hoping I'll lose more weight if my calorie intake is lowered. However I didn't have any coffee when I was on my juice fast, I'm afraid the coffee I had today might slow things down. I'll make sure not to have anymore coffee until the fast is over.
Wish me luck! Advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.
