MC Day One
Made it through the first day, but thought way too much about food. Didn't drink enough lemonade so the headaches have begun.
Date: 7/23/2008 10:23:47 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1261 times - started the night before with a cup of Get Regular tea. Smooth Move tastes too much like black licorice.
- in the morning squeezed 6 lemons and 6 limes, put the combined juice in a glass bottle to use over the next few days. (That way I'm not squeezing every day.) I don't quite get sick of the taste of the lemonade when I've added limes to it; haven't tried it with just limes. Made myself a glass of lemonade to drink before work. Then made enough for 3 glasses to take to work. Cut back on the maple syrup (5 tablespoons instead of 6) because otherwise it's too sweet for me, but used a little more cayenne. Filled a 32 oz. Nalgene bottle (I know, I know) with the lemonade, and also took a liter bottle of water, and a large Siggs bottle full of water as well.
- plan was just to get through six glasses of lemonade for the day; I never fit in the other two. After work had to rush home and get the kids to activities and didn't have time to make more lemonade. Didn't get home until 8 pm and by then I was starving and had the beginning of a headache. My husband fixed pasta for dinner and the smell went all through the house, made my stomach growl. To avoid the kitchen I stayed in the bedroom, drank water and went to bed. I didn't even have the tea.
- will do better on Day 2. Need to have a whole day's worth of lemonade already prepared.
