In this Class offered through
SDSU Extension at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community,
Students will refine Animal Husbandry Skills
through carring for Bessy, the SDSU Utter
that serves fresh raw milk to Monty Montezuma,
school mascot before each game.
Monty takes this Kefir brew to ensure
that he will be in tip top energy before each
intended winning athletic performance.
Students learn in this class,
how to compost and build biodynamic
preparations using cow manure from Bessy
that is 100% Organic grass fed.
Bessy is the mascot for the landscape department,
who rather than uses round up for their weeds,
and mows, has bessy grazing from lawn to lawn.
