During the over (10) ten years of the Viet Nam Conflict; an average of (10) ten Americains died in that war each day...  Now with a conflict in Iraq and Afganistan... The Government spents uncalculated billions on these wars...  

However as you read this know that not just ten but over 1500 Americians die each day of Cancer... Yet your government puts only about 20% into Cancer research or valid treatments today!!  While spending the remainder (80%) of the funds is diverted to HIV/AIDS over the recent years...    Of the appox. 20% that ends up going to Cancer research projects; Much is wasted...  Example of all 40 projects of the federal National Cancer Institute; most are focused on Chemo, Radiation treatments which is not prevention...   REALLY!!

So this is like having over 150 Viet Nam conflicts going on simultaniously right now... Which is far more than all these wars that the world talks about every day on the News...  Yet we act like there is not any problems with except the war in Iraq!!  

How can the consciousness of Americian be aroused to the level of concern beyond the nightly News views??
