Date: 2/9/2008 8:31:29 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2273 times Hi, i have decided to start my juice fast (yeah!). I am pretty excited at this point, to be expected I haven't really done anything yet. haha! I want to give you guys a pretty acurate count of my total weight lose so see the bottom of the page when your done reading. The number today really disappointed me. I am currently a pescetarian, meaning that i live a vegitarian lifestyle except i eat fish occasionally. My eating habits are not bad and i am currently training for a 5K. My biggest problem right now is that i am heavy. I can't seem to loose weight. I lost about 40 lbs over the summer (yeah!) but now i am platueing. Of course everyone has their new years resolutions, well i don't want mine to flop. I will run a 5K this year and hopfully be up to the 10K next year. I have suffered from a couple injuries already and they all could have been avoided if i was smaller (i.e. stress fractures, sprained ankles, ect...) I have consuled my Dr. about my concern and she pointed me to this option. I am totally 100% ready to embark on this journey but need support. I have found that the general public disapproves when it comes to fasting no matter how you try to explain it. so, i think i am going ot be keeping my mouth shut about it for a while and using this as my main venting tool.
