Day 1 was surprising easy!

When I created this blog I was already on day 3 of my fast but I will summarize my first two days in the blog because it shows my progress and all of the negative parts of my day.
Day 1 was not really that hard mostly because the day before I ate pretty normal sized meals and they all were pretty healthy which allowed for my first day of fasting to be a little easier on my body than other times when I fasted. One time I fasted and I ate three slices of pepperoni pizza the day before it all began. BAD IDEA. I had cramping in my lower abdomen all the next day and I was craving massive amounts of greasy food. I definitely learned my lesson from that fast.
When I woke up on Day 1 I drank some hot tea and a liter of water and then headed off to my classes for the day. Throughout my classes I consumed another bottle of water and iced tea. When I was done with my classes I come back to my room and had another bottled water and then had a diet coke. Sleeping that day was not hard at all, whereas in my previous fasts I tend to have major problems with sleeping the entire time I am fasting. I'm sure it will slowly sneak up on my at some point in my fast and full on insomnia will take over. In general though I do have problems with going to sleep and then no being able to wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.
